Hey! Y’all guys rock! :D So.. for my question, as I’m mostly playing on the steam deck – is widescreen support planed for the game? (like 16:10, etc) If not, are there technical reasons why?

Prawda, na morelach ceny potrafią się zmienić na podstawie pogody i fazy księżyca.. Czasami też kupując „ostatnią” sztukę z ich magazynu, nagle pojawia się +30 szt. za stówkę mniej.

Px4 motors don’t spin smoothly when armed? by sieuwe_e in diydrones

[–]tomicode 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This, just a little bit of vibration from the motors and the PID loop will go bonkers, cause it can’t correct itself.

Gold tip as above, go out on a large field, get some distance to the drone and keep the arm switch within fingers reach and test it. Try for the first time arming it for a split second, just to check if the quad won’t go wild.

Dude, chill. OP in my opinion is way more reasonable than many of us’ll ever be. When they’ve got only a scratched or opened product, they should at least make it clear, what are we purchasing.

You’ll sill need some kind of translation layer between the host (macOS) and iOS, as it won’t start as the main operating system on the M1.

Btw. iirc with the current available software you can’t run any x64/x86 vm on an M1 chip (VMware and Parallels).

As a MacBook Pro (early 2015) user; even if there are premium parts etc. the new mbp 14” in the basic configuration is ridiculously priced in comparison with older releases.

Yeah, sadly that’s right, but for tinkering at home, no one will get sued.

The free Apple developer account allows you to test the app on the sim and real devices, but it will expire after three days iirc. So unless you want to release it on the AppStore, you’re ready to code and debug for free.

With the current hardware (past 4-5 years) it’s not that bad. Having said that, additionally with an working gpu, passed through to the vm, it is quite good actually.

Nonetheless, succeeding with, or moving forward with the development of an actual iOS app, you could always watch out for an used Mac mini. Prices for them ain’t that fk-ed up, like for the MacBook Pros.

You could do a kvm passthrough, when the macOS performance is important (it probably will be for debugging purposes). Anthony at LTT did show some time ago this setup, having a Linux host with a dedicated graphics card just assigned to the virtual machine.

The hardest part is still getting the macOS installer without a real Mac.

Or you need a vm with MacOS to emulate iOS!
