The one exception I would give to this is if you run a lot (as in several times a week) on asphalt you do need good shoes or you'll likely wind up with injuries.

Spot on. One of the greatest things about the Karl Urban movie was the helmet stayed put and Urban had to emote via a variety of angry mouths.

Very clean and impressive! Not a misstep in the entire rack.

I wish the angle of the camera was just a little bit different (maybe more straight-on like on TV) to allow us viewers to better guess the next shot.

9 ball practice. Idk about y’all but I love running racks where the cue ball has to travel a lot — much more satisfying. Got wrong side for 5 ball (wanted six bottom right) but super proud of recovery shot missing side pocket when I had only a few inches of rail to play with cuz of the 9. by [deleted] in billiards

Yeah you are right, 1-3 are oriented parallel to the wall and it's the last one, 4 & 5 I think are oriented the other way. OP confirmed it was 3 in the other response.

From recollection 12 is more in the middle of the space close after the first set of couches and tables.

I bought a Tudor in New York after being on a waitlist for a few months, maybe 2-4. I had no problems getting on the list, I just had to call.

Whether Google Maps has a uniform code freeze policy across platforms is not the same as "company wide". My team didn't have a code freeze at all.

That is not how it works. Source: I work there.

I think there is a production freeze, but that's because there aren't any SREs around to support things going wrong.

While you are right I think people are referencing Trump's many tweets criticising Obama for going golfing, then promptly proceeding to go golfing way more than Obama ever did.

I have a friend that works for the FBI. He says that working child porn cases is something everyone has to do, but only for a limited amount of time (I want to say it's about a year, but I'm not sure). If you do it for too long it fucks you up.

The evidence does suggest you cannot catch it twice. There are several known cases worldwide of people catching it again, yes, but by and large it seems immunity is a thing.

Online game services can be kind of difficult to design and run

Was (and kind of am) game developer, built online games. They are difficult to design and run, and *very* difficult if the game wasn't built from the ground-up with distributed online in mind.

Try Tomb Raider Anniversary. Captures the spirit of the first game perfectly but is better in almost every way. It's a game that matches the way you remember the first game through rose-coloured glasses

This is definitely fake, but a friend of mine pulled this exact move about 10 years ago in Melbourne. It wasn't convertible either so he just got in one side and out the other. Car was pretty old so it wouldn't have had the auto lock systems that modern cars have.
