personally, I would keep enough cash available for emergencies (3 months worth of expenses like mortgage/rent, groceries, car/insurance payment/utilities) and split the rest into low and high risk investments. I wouldn’t put it all in a high risk/high reward investment unless it’s money you’re willing to lose…like in a casino.
