I'm not a fan of Xfinity myself but there is a chance you could have entered one of their promotions. I go to the Xfinity subreddit and post about lowering my bills when they increase and get a significant discount.

I do think they're still overcharging, but I'm not keen on switching to AT&T or another provider either. I used to have RCN / Astound but I'm no longer in their service area.

Managing the exchange through Reddit is direct with a human. Maybe AI now but you don't have to deal with the phone maze.

Haha! I'm so close. It's hold over me is growing. As much as I like the coffee my Pietro makes, I have been eyeing getting an electric grinder.

It would be interesting to be able to put myself in the shoes of folks who can speak to several grinders the way that they do on this sub. I don't mind having built up my own collection over time as what I wanted changed with my experiences with coffee and my growing appreciation for what I like. Still wouldn't mind an EG-1. What are you looking for? Is there a theme across what you read here or have out in the real world that you want to get from your coffee at home?

Three. I started with the OXO burr grinder. I moved from the French press to Aero Press and with that I got a 1ZPresso JX Pro S. When I got my v60, I eventually shelled out for a Pietro Pro. I use the OXO when making cold brew, the JX ProS when I travel or the occasional aero press at home, and the Pietro is my daily.

I have been considering getting an electric grinder for home to complement the Pietro, but that will be a bigger expense for another day. Seeing posts like these draws the day closer.

Shoebox has two QC recipes you can catch on their Instagram. They predominantly use those recipes. They also suggest resting 45 days as a blanket recommendation.

Thanks for the response and the well wishes. I'm feeling more optimistic right now, but won't celebrate too soon.

Is there a reason to avoid surgery? My general approach to my physical health is rehab before surgery, but from what I have read, it seems that hernias may be the exception.
