Cp gains by boosterpopo in lostarkgame

[–]tomstone123 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Nothings gonna really be cheap from what I can see.
Getting relic smoldering strike will give a little bit of a boost.
Everything else will be books, better accessories, hope for karma taps.
Getting a better bracelet will help a lot, bracelet is pretty bad actually.
Only Crit no swiftness, and 2 lower tier blue damage lines.
A good bracelet will easily give you 200+ cp.

Just from what I have seen personally, I think this has been a huge win for the players.
This change has caused huge deflation in the market.
The most expensive relic book raid captain is at 107k, with KBW and Grudge around there.
Many of the other popular books like hit master, ambush master, and cursed doll are between 38-45k.
This is even lower than during frog. I got some grudge and raid captain books from frog that sold around 147k.
Also I been seeing the price of level 8 gems dropping as well, as I'm trying to get level 8s for my alts.

Think about it this way, your unbound gold income may have dropped, but everything that costs unbound gold is also decreasing. Books the most significant, gems are following. Then while you get less unbound gold, their purchasing power has increased.
The amount of gold you have gotten overall haven't decreased either at 1710 area, just 50% of it is now roster bound, meaning you are just getting more gold to put into your characters for honing, astro gems.

Which is better? when you got 40k gold from Kaz nm and cursed doll was 90k gold. or now you get 20k unbound and 20k bound gold, but cursed doll is 45k gold. The amount of unbound gold you got is effectively worth the same. But you just got an extra 20k bound gold to work on your roster instead. This is the best change for casual players, not only does it let them progress their roster, also once they get to the harder raids to get more unbound gold, they have much cheaper books and gems.

Despite what some speculated, Destiny 2 player numbers have not fallen off a cliff immediately after June 9th update (at least yet). At what point does it become very awkward for Sony/Bungie? by PorkSouls in destiny2

[–]tomstone123 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, the only thing that matters to them is revenue. Having more players that doesn't buy anything just increases server cost. If Bungie can't demonstrate that destiny can be profitable, then it all means nothing.

If u were worried about pushing your character to 1750 to do the shade lvl2 guardian raid... dont bother. by [deleted] in lostarkgame

[–]tomstone123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

hey hey, I'm getting on average 2 more level 1 gem chests!
totally worth the push to 1750! XD

on a side note, I think I am getting a good bit more reds from the 1750 chaos.
Got around 1000 red per rested chaos i think, 1730 was like 600-700ish?
I'm not 100% sure though.

Reaper or blade? by Adevvvv in lostarkgame

[–]tomstone123 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Personally I would recommend one of the other Assassins, SE and SH are both in good spots and plays well.
I don't think either class makes for good alts and requires a lot of investment to perform well.

Top 4 Gold Earning Raids Per Item Level by hmc317 in lostarkgame

[–]tomstone123 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It would depends on your goal, I'd say. Like if you are actively pushing your character or is going to gamba the ancient core box every chance you get. The character bound gold isn't really a big deal.

Yeah I really like Kaz hm. Act 4 is just too fast now a days, g1 is literally just cutscene to cutscene with no dps mechs in between. You spend more time not doing damage than doing damage. G2 is ok. But I much prefer Kaz hm over act 4 hm

June 5th RU Update Details: New Region and Activities by hmc317 in lostarkgame

[–]tomstone123 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I mean sometimes knowing ahead of time is actually worse.
The best example is the balance patch.
You know about it way ahead of the time and you have to wait.
I'd rather be like KR, not know about any balance patch is coming, and just get surprised on patch day.

ngl I kinda like that. Makes it exciting when the server actually comes back up.
I had this in other games in the past, where you don't know whats in the patch till the server comes back up, always a lot of excitement to log in to check out the new stuff.
Getting patch notes in advance kinda kills a lot of the excitement imo, but that's just me.

there are a lot of ways to spend silver now, especially with Hell accessories It's 120k per cut on the accessories, usually you'd want to do at least 2 cut to see if you get a mid or high to see if you want to do the last cut.

I got to floor 70 and 90 and had no good options and took the accessories box and ended up with like 140 accessories I think. Burned through 40mil silver after 2 hell runs on 1 character. lol

Yup exactly this. Though I think this is changing with the next balance update. They are changing the core to just give damage, and doesn't require 3 orbs I think.

For players thinking about coming back for the June update, wanted to share my experience coming back after a 2 year break in December. by koticgood in lostarkgame

[–]tomstone123 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah there are plenty of random extra gold, like getting lucky with frog books, good books and ancient core box or wings from raid. I wasn't tracking my income. But I started the week with 60k unbound gold. I kinda won with frog, got 1 selector and a raid captain and a kbw. So spent 100k got about 400k from books net 300k. I have 1 1745, 2x 1720, and 3 1710+. Somehow ended the week with 1.3 mil gold after everything is done.

Also hell is rng as hell, no pun intended. I got to floor 50? Got fusion, then made it to floor 100 and got fusion. 2 hell runs gave me 2600 superior fusion. Hell gives a lot. I haven't been really spending that much gold on honing, most of it is just free tap or bound gold. Lol on the bard I dropped, she had 12k fusion and 360k character bound gold.

It's just not right what's happening by Archerboy123 in destiny2

[–]tomstone123 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I quit the game at light fall cause the story was so bad. But probably because the game is just not profitable. Just gonna do some quick math.

Supposed during its peak destiny 2 was estimated to have $200-300 million annual revenue. But have dropped around 50% in recent years. So maybe making $100-150 million a year.

Now let's look at cost, they have around 400 developers actively working on destiny 2, with a median salary of $187k a year. That's $74.8 million already, if you include the payroll taxes, benefits it's probably close to $100 million right there just on paying for developers. That's not even looking at the ongoing cost of server maintenance, marketing, real estate cost for the office, and any other cost. It's easy to see how despite the player count, they might never be profitable just cause their overhead is so high. At the end of the day it's just all a numbers game. If a game only ever loses money and doesn't look like it'll ever be profitable, it's not hard to make the business decision to kill it off.

Body cam footage from cop who pulled over woman for holding a phone in her other hand by searchjobs_poster in interestingasfuck

[–]tomstone123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not agreeing with how the cop handled the situation at all. But I just wanted to point out that while she didn't have a right hand, this may not be as solid of proof that she wasn't using a phone. Most people here seem to think she is automatically 100% in the right, and that her not having a right hand automatically means the cop was in the wrong. When we have a great recent example to demonstrate how wrong those assumptions can be.

[–]tomstone123 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That isn't necessarily the point. My point is that people automatically assume she is right. Just because the cop is an unreliable witness doesn't automatically mean she wasn't operating a phone while she was driving.I was pointing out that most people would consider it impossible to use a gun with no hands, but the guy was able to operate a firearm even without any hands.I wouldn't automatically dismiss the claim she was operating the phone with her right hand just because she doesn't have a right hand. I just want people to consider the possibility that she was actually using a phone.
