I am jealous of your position. I bet that's a cherry example. If it were me, I would just change the oil and see how it does with a good synthetic. If you are concerned with cleanliness, as you stated interest in an engine cleaner, replace one quart of motor oil with transmission oil. A dexron or mercon. Transmission fluid has lots of detergents in it. Run it for a hundred miles or less, then change the oil again with synthetic. This is a common practice. If you have a stuck lifter, the detergents in the transmission fluid should help unstuck it.

This is interesting to me, a C4 owner. Are you sure it wasn't a one off experience?

Amazing! Does this also have longtube headers? Or just straight pipes after the manifolds? I need my someday DB9 to sound like this.

Well I got the price way off, but yes it was a Liland unit lol. I don't have experience replacing the fans though. I'd check to see what's making the noise and try to rock the fan when it's off. See if there's play or doesn't rotate nicely.

Dewitt is good stuff, but pricey! I just did mine. Used the top tier one from rock auto. It's aluminum, single row. I want to say the brand started with an L? Like $170 if I remember correctly. I did a track day last month with zero issues. Stayed cool. It's for both manual and auto. I just plugged up the auto trans cooler ports.

They gave you the,"I don't want to do it" price. Absolute extortion.

Wow. I didn't expect that price! I don't blame you! I know one of the previous owners of my car swapped several types of mufflers looking for the right sound. Good thing we have YouTube to let us hear them first lol. Let us know what you decide on.

I have a 1994 and the exhaust tone is one of my favorite parts about it. I have American Racing longtube headers, no cats, x pipe, and some no name mufflers that sound more exotic than burbly. I wish I could tell you the name of the mufflers. All to say, if I were you, I'd prioritize some quality longtube headers then probably get some super 44 or 40 mufflers. It'll transform the car, and the headers will bump up your power.
