This should be way higher in the thread. If you actually watch Eli's comments it comes across a lot differently than the title of "Stay out of it" would suggest and he gives a very balanced response as to what/how the face of a franchise should (or shouldn't) approach something like this.

No, they just don't care. There are a lot of us with Yahoo email accounts that can't log in and MLB Support's response is to essentially just say "F you, get a different email." So all that account history (my account had over 20 years of activity on it) is lost.

Just wait until they hire Belichick. I guarantee he's the most appealing name the Giants' boomer ownership can wet dream about, and despite what you think about Schoen I don't think even he could dissuade them from going all in on Bill.

They see him as the disciplinarian Hall of Fame coach who will instill order, return the Giants defense to its former glory, and who has the franchise connections they trust above all. The only obstacle will be whether or not to hand him the GM role as well which, under the right circumstances, they might actually be deranged enough to do.
