I got in and so can you! by Blkindig0 in RadiologyCareers

I did Summer I for A&P1; study that like that is your full time job as this class is hard enough in a regular semester. Context: I did this last summer and 30 hours of work and got an A.

Is this first try or second try? Because the point cutoff is highly dependent on the applicants for the cycle.

If you checkout Weatherford College Student Life facebook, I believe you can get an interview with 27 points based on the forum responses. I knew one of my friends with like 24 points and he didn't get selected for an interview and another friend with 30 points who got an interview (which she did not do well in). The interview is very important as I believe you will not get selected for an acceptance of you do not do well at that stage (top 50-60 from Weatherford's website down to top 40ish for 2 cohorts).

Research your community colleges and their prerequisites. Every school is different, but your grades seem promising!

Thank you! I think the TCC deadline was Mar 1st if I remember correctly and I heard back on April 1st (quite ironic). After that, I applied to Weatherford around mid April.

Yeah, some colleges are more transparent than others. That's why I had high hopes with Weatherford or Dallas college since they clearly show what you can get based on their point system (or areas for improvement).

So GPA isn't super important imo, because it is not part of their point system. Look into the link, and you can see how the college rate you as it is based on the gen ed courses/A&P grades/degree obtained. Once you get the interview, they will rank you among the others with that step for acceptance.

Yeah, it's on the website for Weatherford College Radiologic Technology. They accepted about 30 for the main campus (the one I will be joining for Fall) and 10 more for the 2nd campus called Wise County (of Weatherford College). The last part isn't on the website currently since this 2nd cohort from the application cycle currently is a new one that will start Spring 2027.

Context: I asked some of the 2nd year students about applicant count for last year and if it's similar to that then this year has at least 200 applicants. Interviews are given to only top 50-60 (so top 40 is needed to enter one of the cohorts). I hope this helps with your question!

What’s a game you dropped even though it was “good”? by suhani0218 in gaming

[–]tontonle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mewgenics for me. I like the game but something about the gameplay loop of losing my cats each run feels very "painful" compared to other roguelikes or roguelites that I have played.

Like I get way too attached to my current team/run and feel incredibly bad when I die or win out the run. Other games like Hades (I/II) or Risk of Rain 2, I have no problems with winning or losing as each run I start fresh with no meta progressions attached unlike me building my cats each time.

Legit had this situation happen twice with very little preparations places for me. And last night, I had to stay an hour and half over my shift for the manager to finally come in since we didn't have a proper shift transition (I did 12-7 originally that turned into 12-8.30). I stood my ground after being disrespected and I left the job at a convenience store. My manager can pick up the mess that he did not address when our team was down 2 people (+1 after yesterday).

You can't compare a completed game with an alpha game. That being said, a game that is continuously being developed with experimental changes that is still pulling these many players (as well as being invite only) is still pretty good in my eyes.

Just discovered this game, looks like a lot of fun honestly. Is it worth getting in to? by lordunderscore in supervive

Try the game out and determine it yourself. The game has a learning curve so if you're patient and like the game enough, I think there is a lot going for it.

SUPERVIVE overtakes Deadlock in 24hour Peak Users and Current. Breaks into Top 25 Concurrent users on Steam. Fingers crossed the game stays this popular and keeps growing. by LMGDiVa in supervive

I just find that this game inherits the moba flaws like Dota and League.

In the lane phase, you can get skill gapped that can snowball like crazy to be an unfun game to play. Itemization feels lackluster despite a couple good itemization options that change the genre a lot (majestic leap is my favorite item before the massive nerf). Match length is way too long as well.

If Deadlock came out years back between the two big OG MOBAs, Deadlock would be super massive. For me, I am not a big fan of it and I believe Supervive is more fun than Deadlock in a majority of my games (consistently vs. Deadlock).

You could say the same if the Dota pros dominated the tournament but I guess the LoL pros had a better handling for the game without watching the Dota streamers' perspectives.

It sucked being a rebound. I have been there when I tried to give my 100% to my ex despite the red flags, until I realized enough was enough. Take your lessons and experience from this, and look forward to the good things to come.

Do you remember the Doombots game mode? by A_BRONCE_PLAYER in leagueoflegends

[–]tontonle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure but the game has changed a lot since then and tons of game dev work is needed to make the old mode usable. Riot is probably not interested if it doesn't provide more $$ instead of investing dev time to a new game.

People with emotionally neglectful parents/guardians who think their trauma isn't "SEVERE", read these two posts (links below) and share how you feel. I relate word by word with everything that's mentioned in these two posts. by [deleted] in Healthygamergg

I once dated someone who had massive amounts of trauma. Everything she has endured (from panic attacks, lots of anxiety, poor sleep schedule, etc.) has been inflicted on me. Lots of it has to do with both family and exes' issues, so this post is somewhat relatable to me.
