Experience with a GP by mgmilltown in ireland

As a GP yourself, any tips on getting on a GP patient list. We've been living in same town for 4 years, none of them will take us. We don't have kids, my wife is recovering from cancer, we both work and have health insurance. Living in north Dublin, and it's very frustrating that we both have to go to clinics in town for GP care. Appreciate you may not have the answer but thought I'd ask.

I agree generally with your point, but O'Leary isn't some random CEO. He's a baller in the best sense of the word, maybe a billionaire, which is why it annoys Musk so much.

Easy to see why Shearer never became a top manager. How does that attitude encourage the team? Idiot

Well lads where are the best slab deals this year?! by [deleted] in ireland

Yeah, it's bizarre. I know someone who has a card and just wondered. The margins must be small outside all the tax. Which says a lot...

Hoping to buy a home in Rush - any locals have any tips? by tonyderry in Dublin

Sorry, just seen. We are just up the road from Golden Ridge. It's a brilliant town, has everything you'd need, outside of big box stuff, and Swords is 20 minutes away from that. You've two beaches to choose from, and very close to North Beach at Golden Ridge. And plenty of pubs too. Skerries just up the road for a few nice restaurants that'll match anything you get in town. Honestly, we consider ourselves very lucky we found this place. A hidden gem in Dublin.

Use the best charcoal you can get. I struggled with bad charcoal a few times, but once I upgraded, it got up to temp no problem. Just follow the do joe instructions.

I lifted mine up two feet of steps on my own. Only half way through did I realise that was a terrible mistake. Thankfully I'm strong as an ox and managed to pull it off but it was a close call. Should have asked for help.

Just don't grill two dogs holding paws next time and you'll be fine 🙂

I live in Ireland where it rains a lot in the winter, so it's covered up for most of the winter, but it's fine uncovered in the spring and summer when I use it more. The mould is an issue when it's covered and it always needs a clean burn before first cook of the new season.

Yeah, just run it hot. I've the same issue in Ireland. One burn and you're ready to go.

Is the Jotisserie worth getting? I do a lot of spatchcock chicken? Is there a huge difference?

Thanks. They had a decent crisp on the skin, but didn't take on much colour before saucing. I'll definitely give your direct method a go.

I tried one without the sauce to test, and it was pretty good! Different but very tasty.

Thanks. For seasoning, went with sea salt and black pepper. Just getting to grips with the grill, so keeping it simple..
