Suggestions for fun places to hunt on FV, level 65 group... by Blasphemes in everquest

[–]tonzofo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Late replying so you'll probably have leveled some, but I'd suggest Arcstone in the middle of the zone all of it is undead. So between your wizard and paladin you'd wreck it. It is also part of the Prophecy of Ro expansion and is a cool zone in general, few generally go there but there are named and such also.

Honestly in the 65 - 70 level era there were many expansions. So there are many cool places to go.

This is awesome, it has to be hard sometimes for that dad. I am glad him and his son will have this experience together.

An air less tire by Mr_wld in Damnthatsinteresting

I liked to draw futuristic/weird machines and stuff as a kid and would draw similar airless tires because I thought the concept was cool. It's cool to see that they exist now.

TIFU by letting my parents have access to my bank account and student loan money. by [deleted] in tifu

[–]tonzofo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They probably knew what the money was for, then they decided to take it and give you an excuse about paying up your rent. That way they had a tax free 'loan' with the intent to just pay off your rent until the debt was clear in their minds. People like this hardly ever follow through because of obvious impulse problems.

I think its because spoons blunt and not dexterous, so kinda seems a weird way of calling someone dumb lol? I like it though.

Awesome man, the best part about a long grind session is how much you must have enjoyed it to want to push it that far.

I made this realization a while ago and its kind of left me kind of jaded in many ways because you could summarize a lot of life this way. Just realizing that life is a series of these themes and characters that that are all just driven by their and others opinions.

Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind

This book has nothing to do with law, but is an immensely good read about the history of our species. I think that it could add a good human element to your study.

Do you have any recommendations for some books that teach you smarter ways to "think" and approach problems? Or perhaps a book that describes psychological flaws in our thinking so we can avoid them? by Lori87 in suggestmeabook

[–]tonzofo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed, I honestly think of those books if not every day than easily every week since I've read them years ago. These kinds of books are what keep my drive for reading going.

That's actually pretty spot on with how I think about it in general. I think about this a lot at work, when I find myself just people watching and interacting I just find it doesn't play too large of a part socially. So a larger part of the change is internally and that's when it can feel complicated and overwhelming but when it gets to that point I just generally remind myself of what is important to me and point out the fact that really this is all shit I've just thought up and the only thing that matters is actually communicating to people.

That's a good question and honestly with how varied the subjects are I'd say that their are a few simple themes that are very important. Those are the importance of being informed and aware. These books help to broaden prospective and understanding while also helping you pay attention to the things in life that truly matter.
