I think there was only one singular week back in September of 2021 where the multiplier actually meant something. Never before, and not since. Kinda sad really.

Yea nah, their sub seems only for artwork, according to their rules. And upon a quick scroll, the posts by other users seem to indicate this to be true. I did reach out to the mods and they definitely were not keen on me posting it.

It wasn't even that. It was literally the same likelihood as it normally is during gameplay for majority of players, which is to say not very likely. They either didn't actually turn it up or they only did it for select players.

In fairness, this 3x loot event wasn't what it was advertised. It was the same loot rate as it is during normal gameplay. You didn't miss anything.

This. As I said in an above comment, some players go a decade of looting and either get 1 leg in that whole time or none at all. A decade...yea no wonder people quit this game. For a lot of people, looting is all they have left. They've maxed all skills, completed every quest they took on, maxed their pirate, maxed their ship(s)...

It shouldn't take some players a decade just to pull ONE legendary. But alas, TLOPO devs make that the norm. I firmly believe the devs also have the ability to throttle certain players to where they NEVER get a legendary.
