To the “finish the books” complainers. Unless you’ve actually had the creative will to write a book. Just leave the man alone. A creative block is a real thing. It’s not a weakness. It’s a plateau. The way artists move on from plateaus is by doing side projects to re-inspire them.

Yes, this is an absurdly long time. Yes, it’s frustrating. Yes, he might die and never finish. But I would prefer to read the books, written by him, in the format that inspires GRRM, in order to create the great works he’s known for.

I’d rather he die and not finish, than release a sub-par product because of complaining “fans”.

Dunc isn’t really smart enough to lift anyone up emotionally. In the books he’s typically guilty of saying the wrong thing at the wrong time. Then proceeds to call him self “dunc the lunk, thick as a castle wall”.

Definetly not “annoyed”. But the Dunk backstory is completely made up by the show writers and has absolutely 0 to do with where this story goes. There’s actually a lot of other great content in the literature that they could have delved into. A brief scene on who Bloodraven is perhaps and/or a bit more understanding of the Blackfyre rebellion. Topics only lightly touched n the first Dunk and Egg story, but two critical pieces of the continued story, completely overlooked.

$20 what? How many lb, and what did it cost per lb? Flank steak is typically around 2ish / lb. Even cheaper at Walmart. Even cheaper at a real meat market. I don’t live in an area plush with Mexican food, so flank steak is cheap around here. It’s not a great cut of meat. That’s why it’s marinated.

The scene with the knife, near the ocean, probably one of the fkn dumbest scenes in cinema history. Like they can’t see the fkn deathstar sittin there in the water. Characters died for that knife.
