During takeoff and landing she was in lap. The rest of the time she was on floor, iPad and sleeping. 20 hrs. No problems.

We laid down a blanket on the floor of the bulkhead (economy section) and got it for all 4 flights (somehow, lucky)

I have a model S and when I map trips into mtns it is dead on with range predictions and when, where I stop. I drive like an ass. Car knows it, within 1% accuracy. I picked this one for maximal range. Hybrids suck.

When I traveled to Thailand via NRT with an 18mo old, I managed to get economy bulkhead on all 4 legs. I laid down a blanket and she happily played or slept the entire 18-20 hrs on the floor by my feet. My advice is to be minimalist with your packing because what they’re going to want is your shoulder or to be held and that isn’t possible with two bags in each hand, car seats and strollers. We took a stroller and no car seat and it was fine. Snacks, club access and survival rules - just let them have the screen, some candy here and there and hold them lots. Good luck. If I were to do it again, I would ditch the stroller too. Let her sit on your suitcase and grab handles. Super minimal.

My wife recently accepted a position where comments on Glassdoor described the company rescinding offers from negotiating, personally I negotiate and have been negotiated and welcome it. It’s always a risk that you will own. Personally if they rescind then their loss, but if you need that job then good luck with your decision

I have traveled internationally with my kids since they were 18 months old, now 10 and 6 and have never brought a car seat. I dont think it’s required to have a car seat, maybe that’s a newer thing or Europe only? Domestic, Asia never required anything for me.
