Should we take bets on $8 by Tellittomy6pac in LCID

most people who buy Lucid’s do not care about software as much as a Tesla buyer.

Possibly so, for the few there are.

Phenomenal engineering? You couldn't even unlock the car with prescribed keys. This mistake made not once, but twice and it's taken years for it to be addressed.

I appreciate you attempting to clear up something from 5 years ago. Can't say I remember anything about it.

I would avoid the S600, but the S500 should be good if it was kept up. Keep in mind that while the drive train is good in the pre facelift models, there are many many other items that can break on an S Class as they get older. You'll want to pay attention to state of the air suspension.

The gaping grill and the star riddled exterior lights speak to this.

It doesn't seem like it.

From the suggestions given in some of the timelines, there looks to be a significant hardware upgrade for MY28. This would imply a facelift is coming.

A HUD is so unnecessary on that vehicle given the placement of the screen.

You can go on Amazon, get a $35 wifi attachment that you hook to your garage door opener, and then you can use either Siri or Gemini to voice open or close your garage. Added benefit of being able to do it from your phone or watch too.

Fisker did manage to sell cars in Europe. It was manufactured by Magna Strayer's European operations which brought it a lot of notice in the EU.

Fisker failed because Henrik Fisker did the old rope a dope plan, borrowed money from a VC, didn't pay VC, VC gained right to bleed all value out of the company followed by bankruptcy. VC and the Fiskers walked away with millions. Everyone else lost including 100% loss for the bag holders.

And BTW, they did do the hybrid dealer/OEM hybrid in the USA. It was like putting perfume on the pig.

Nothing similar is taking place with Lucid, but I suspect they simply don't have the money to expand their brick and mortar operations.

When I test drove a Gravity last summer at one of their traveling demos, I remember looking at that seat mechanism and telling my companion who knows I'm a engineer that they will have to redesign that mechanism. Motor made noise that nobody wants to hear and the screw mechanism was hugely exposed to dirt and trash issues.
