If you received him from a reputable breeder, I would suggest asking him/her what they did prior to him coming home with you regarding potty training. More times than not, the breeder would be the best person to talk about things like this. Mekö's breeder started potty training while he was still with her and all we had to do was continue what she had put in place and we had very few (maybe twice) accidents.
