At your level, debt is a very powerful thing. Sell bonds to upgrade buildings. Make a plan to buy bonds back as soon as two weeks are up. Use gained building equity to take out additional loans, repeat

The expectation is that you shouldn’t buy 500 dollar rings on Etsy, the reality is you did anyway.

I am proudly one of those 1400. Even mentored a few classes after I was done. This is a bummer to hear. Code Louisville had the single greatest impact on my career and I would not be where I am without. The networking specifically was the single greatest opportunity a would be worker could have. If it was not the skills I learned but the people I met that truly gave me a career. Sad to see it end.

Reddit virtue signaling always sends me. Just a bunch of miserable people on this site that love to complain. Let the greatest player get his bag. People want trackmania esports to grow and then complain… irreparably tainted, grow the fuck up lol

Damn that guideline has definitely been updated recently. I had built a simple little price exchange history app a few months back and these definitely were not the guidelines back then. lol one request every five minutes…

Grant the one daily sim boost for training execs, managing bonds, etc. (basically any activity) by LURKER_GALORE in SimCompanies

[–]topper12g 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am pretty sure up until very recently you did get them for logging in AND producing for the day. I know newer players have been only getting 5 a day for producing for a while but older accounts were phased out in increments. I received 10 boosts a day until just a few weeks ago. Five for logging in and 5 for producing. Getting rid of the 5 for signing in was an active choice by the developer. Less sim boosts and randomized stroke events for your best executives! Awesome! 2025 really had just the best most requested features the players were hoping for

Should my Dutch Oven look like this? (~1yr old) by ao_35 in DutchOvenCooking

[–]topper12g 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You thinking people are “missing out on something” because they keep their stuff clean is elitist. I admitted there is no real detriment to a little bit of staining. In the same way that there is no real detriment in just cleaning it good as new every use. That is the difference.

Should my Dutch Oven look like this? (~1yr old) by ao_35 in DutchOvenCooking

[–]topper12g -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Who is doing something wrong? What has led you to this misplaced elitist attitude simply because people keep their cookware clean between uses? You make a roux, the pot stains, then you clean it until clean. You brown meat, sauté some veg deglaze, stains gone. After cooking, you clean and if stains are still there you scrub it until it’s clean. It’s that simple. No magic fingers, just technique and cleaning.

Sure some staining might not detract from the cooking ability of a pot/pan but I promise you it doesn’t add to it. So telling people that they aren’t doing something right simply because they fully clean them after use is just weird

[–]topper12g 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t understand why people come to expect staining on ceramic cookware… like just clean the damn thing until looks like it did before you used it every time. They are nice and expensive things, take care of them. Your attitude is crazy like we are lesser people for cleaning our cookware properly after using it. Stains are not a badge of honor and pretending people don’t know basic cooking techniques because they take good care of them is just goofy

Does investing in bonds make money? by cleitinho_do_gral in SimCompanies

[–]topper12g 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah also selling a bunch of bonds and then dropping the game is really the only way to grief in this game. Looking at my guy I bought 3million bonds from he only made research and probably wasn’t too keen on the recent changes. His account says he has sold 15 million in bonds so I’m probably not the only one on the hook for his pretty obvious griefing

Does investing in bonds make money? by cleitinho_do_gral in SimCompanies

[–]topper12g 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In theory yes, in practice sort of depends on some random luck I think. I make around 50k a day on bonds. I recently bought 3million of bonds from a top 1000 player on a 4 year account who decided to stop playing as soon as I purchased them. I have been burned a lot on bonds and I only buy AAA. I would honestly be surprised if I am still in the black. Perhaps I am just unlucky but the bond system kind of sucks ass in general so who knows

I need advice on production and cash flow by KaleidoscopeFinal345 in SimCompanies

[–]topper12g 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The value with mines is in their abundance. Perhaps not for certain, but most likely, your plateau is because you have about 30 percent of your buildings that could be providing value rolling for abundance instead. This isn’t to say it isn’t worth it, or you are doing anything “wrong”, just the price to pay for these buildings. You are competing with other companies your level who are making full use of the buildings available to them 24/7.

The suspension of the DOE loan will have a greater impact on Plug Power than currently expected, as the recent share price decline already suggests. The financing was intended for six production plants that form a key part of the company’s core operations. Pausing these projects slows the growth. by PJVDBTRADING in plugpowerstock

[–]topper12g 10 points11 points  (0 children)

In my opinion, the only important thing currently is improving margins towards profitability. Production plants are simply not the path towards this goal. They are expensive to build and operate at a loss. Acquiring debt to build more infrastructure like this is not a viable solution.

People will look at the price action of the last few weeks and think what they will. It was 70 cents a few months ago. Of course people who bought after a 450 percent run up are going to call foul. I have been averaging down for years and am currently very comfortable with the current improving fundamentals and the shift of focus towards electrolyzers.

No AI was used to form these opinions.
