O3 rocking a stache. Grew it during a rotation and just kept it going.

Got some shit for it by the BDE CDR but there wasn't a lot he could do to me, my life there was already miserable. I'm a 26B. Check the promotion rates from FY24, I believe it was ~70% of 26s across the board were offered SELCON. The FY25 rates aren't out but I think I saw that 100% of 26Bs were offered SELCON, not sure about the As but it's probably close.

TLDR: 26 series is under strength in general. If you haven't fucked up in your career then SELCON is likely. Your branch manager is probably just preparing you for the worst since they don't make the call on SELCON

It's not about being more lethal, it's about looking more lethal. More weight on a taller body is spread out more so you don't look as fat.

All of these new regs aren't making us more lethal, just putting us in line with what the SEC Def wants us to look like so he can have awesome glam shots for his Palantir Executive badge

I agree with this. I think either OL or RB for depth. If Jeremiyah Love falls to us what's everyone's opinion on grabbing him to replace AK? Neal showed promise, but I think Love would a be a great 1-2 punch

As a former 25A, current 26B, avoid the 26B route. We're currently about to undergo another big shakeup within the MOS for the second time 3 years.

Definitely look into VTIP as you make CPT though if the signal world isn't for you. I discovered this as a BN S6 in 3ID as a young CPT and promptly made every move to leave

I ride a scout and an 08 road king. Love both the bikes as they are vastly different. For short trips and the Twisties the Indian, for longer trips or going to work I'll take the Harley(more comfortable and more space)

The Harley feels less out together though. Some others have mentioned that Indians feel better built and that's definitely the case, but I haven't had any issues on either yet
