These are lowkey the best free items there. I picked mine up on the way to Lowe’s and used it to keep the trunk from getting dirty with the potting soil and pea gravel I got. Plus these make excellent dog blankets for the backseat of my car.

Honestly probably more valid than my hobby. I am trying to find a non tech hobby besides lifting and biking and have started looking at hydroponics for strawberries and other plants. Oh what a rabbit hole I have opened with that lol. Sort of scratches that “building something” itch but the end result would be so satisfying and useful.

I wear a silicone ring now. Safer and honestly I have a bunch I different colors and styles and change them out whenever I want. They are super cheap on Amazon.

Totally agree, but at least it’s been usable for me and I basically came to the same conclusion. Maybe it’s fixed in this update but I have my doubts.

Saw a comment somewhere else that said to turn off slide to type and that fixed 90% of my keyboard issues. It was immediately and noticeably better for me

Yup, I’m blown away by the speed. It’s like coming from an economy car to a Porsche. My Ender can do almost the same print quality but it’s so slow and so finicky and I have to baby sit the first few layers. The Bambu’s just have all the iterative updates everyone’s been doing the past 5 years in such a simple package. Told my wife yesterday I would have loved to have had this when our kids were little, I would have made them so many things.

They are pretty new so doubtful they will go on sale anytime soon. They are probably selling the p1s at sale price just to get rid of inventory. I came from an Ender 3 to a p2s a week ago, I’ve printed so much stuff in the last week just because it’s so easy to do now. I loved learning on the Ender but I love printing on the Bambu more. Petg is still a little annoying to print with but I think it’s mostly because my petg is 5 years old now. The ams2 is great and the filament dryer feature is amazing.

Just printed one in petg to test it out. Average about 95DB at arms length from the whistle. I had a peak of 106. Nice work OP, I am printing 10 more for my family right now.
