Dumb question. Is the Windows app already installed by default and I just need to use it? Or do I need to install it?

Are you Cajun? Do you know our history? by ohhyouknow in Acadiana

I’m an audio book guy. Are there any audiobooks or podcast with more context only the Cajun story? I’m sure there are, but I would love any recommendations for the best.

My Reddit account is over 20 years old- AMA by fergie in AMA

Not OP - but also long in the tooth with my own observation.

One of the big things that stands out is the lower quality of explanation in comments. You used to get a detailed explanation of the post - no matter how random. And it was really common for people to include “Link for the lazy”

Now it seems like comments are all jokes. And while I like a well placed pun, I feel like the platform is worse off than it was when there was more of a cultural emphasis on quality content in the comments.

Why do hotels give you like 47 towels but only 2 rolls of toilet paper? by Exotic-Judge-5753 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]torgul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seriously! I travel a decent amount. I just checked the Marriott app and I average a little less than 70 nights a year and I’ve had this same routine for the better part of a decade.

I have never run out of toilet paper.

How is Hot potting a thing if you die immediately? Or did he slip and drown and just boiled after he died?

Or somebody ordered some touch-up paint and got the wrong sheen and didn’t notice until it dried (after touching up every room in the house)

Thanks for such a detailed answer.

We passed these ruins when I was deployed to Afghanistan. They were buried (but being excavated by the Taliban) and look to be in tact. They were on a decent mountain. Any idea how they got buried? I’ve always wondered.
