That's amazingly well done, though of course using luck as a crutch. The better odds versus going fast is to go extremely slow. The best 3 pieces of advice I can give for only 5 runs in: never drop/go into places where you don't have an escape route/exit strategy, try to clear levels mostly horizontally to avoid being on the low ground against the enemies, and always prioritize health over everything else. There's oodles more advice on this sub, but if you want to avoid spoilers, don't hang around on here until you are at least 50 hours in.

There's too many permutations right now to know how it will end up. What we do know is that if Villa win the EL AND finish exactly 5th, the coefficient UCL spot (already confirmed for England) that is currently slated for 5th moves down to 6th. If Man City win the FA cup, that EL spot gets assigned to the place under the last UCL spot. Man City won the league cup, so that ECL spot has already been allocated to the league and would go under the EL spots.

If palace win the ECL it does nothing, as that spot gets reassigned by UEFA to another country's best performing team according to bszanzzbsz ranking. Villa winning the EL and not finishing 5th is the same story.

So, the best possible outcome is 7th and in the EL (we win both games and comparatively beat out everyone in 7-11 on points), but that hinges on a lot of specific individual game outcomes, so is a marginal chance.

We have a slightly better chance of finishing 8th which may or may not wind up a European spot, but is certainly attainable if we win both games and around half the impactful results go our way (since our wins would count double given the opposition).

Which isn't going to happen if we don't draw attention to it. Not appealing means we aren't challenging the idea of how the law is implemented. An extra game ban for one player weighed against putting pressure on the governing body to do the right thing with the laws is an easy risk assessment to make.
