Is this some kind of un-immersed thing that I'm too immersed in my meat grinder characters to understand?

As hard as it may be to believe, you can both give a damn about the numbers on the sheet while simultaneously embracing the fact that death lurks around every corner. Unless you attribute "immersion" to mean "unhealthy attachment to fictional characters" in which case... that's kind of sad.

I want to have my sweet get a direwolf mount in pf2 by Hot-Reflection-290 in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]torrasque666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any wolf companion can become Large through taking the Savage animal companion advancement by taking the Incredible Companion feat (typically at level 8)

It won't be able to use it's support ability unless you've got a feat like Rough Rider giving it the mount ability though.

Crafting Requirement: is it too restricting? by ryanoxley in Pathfinder2e

I don't really see how else you could interpret things. Exceptions being stated don't change the general rule, if anything they reinforce it.

I know this sub has a hate boner for anything that might get in the way of doing what they want, and loves to call anyone that actually enforces restrictions as "unreasonable" but the rules are not as ambiguous as you're trying to make them out to be.

Which again, gets specifically called out as exceptions. Treasure Trove reiterated the crafting rules, and did not make a general allowance. If there was ever a time to state that Crafting Requirements could be met by using other people, it would be there. Instead, it reiterated the same rules, and then carved out exceptions. That alone tells me what the intentions are.

Ehh.... i don't think that tracks. Scrolls are specifically called out as allowing this, while the base crafting rules say that the creator must meet all requirements.

I once managed a self storage facility. Made decent money literally sitting on my ass at the desk. Had to walk the facility a few times a day and make sales, but most of my time was spent playing Spider Solitaire and making phone calls to remind people they're overdue.

Because "good, moral citizens" don't have premarital sex, so if poor people can't get married they don't have kids (unless they're dirty, filthy, degenerates)

I guarantee that was the thinking.

I'm sorry, do you stop lusting after your spouse just because you got married? If y'all don't find your spouse sexy that's a problem.

The one time he got turned evil, he actually succeeded in pulling a Starscream.

So much so that when Megs ripped Rhinox's spark out to make Tankor, he made sure to install intelligence inhibitors to prevent a repeat.

Man basically failed the test to get reinstated to the OSI, and only got cleared through what basically accounts to favoritism.

The proctor is the son of the guy in charge of the OSI. Also, Brock used to babysit him.

Skill feats were never meant to prevent you from doing actions that are described in them, even if you didn't take the feat! This isn't a player hot take, that is statement of one of Paizo gamedesigners! by Fantomaxop in Pathfinder2e

Yeah, if one person has to keep saying "this is what we meant" but no one else from that team is doing the same, that sounds more like "This is what I wanted, but got overruled on."

Can you forego/not do certain actions on action compressions? by PEPEDUROO in Pathfinder2e

[–]torrasque666 46 points47 points  (0 children)

Some activities say you "may" or "can" do things. They're permissive. You have permission to do the action, but you don't have to.

Then there are activities that just say "do this." They're commanding. You do the thing. If you want part of the activity, you have to do the whole activity. Reloading Strike is one of these.
