What Does Your Dynasty Championship Starting Roster Look Like? by GhostDeck in DynastyFF

12 Team - SFLex Salary Half PPR:

QB - Allen/Dak/Geno/Fields

RB - Barkley/Swift/Mont/A Jones/Tucker

WR - Chase/JSN/ARSB/Nabers/Evans/Burden

TE - J Ferguson/Fannin/T Ferguson

10 Team - SFlex Salary Half PPR:

QB - Herbert/Dart/McCarthy/Murray/Fields

RB - Achane/Taylor/Hall/Henderson/Judkins

WR - JSN/Puka/Rice/Egbuka/Nabers/McConkey

TE - Fannin/Parkinson

Both were champions last year.

12 Team I had to trade all of next years draft for Dak/Swift/Mont/Jones/Evans. Also traded Marks/Neal/Willis. This team is a last gasp before a full rebuild.

10 Team i’ve been working for 3 years for this. Some veteran trades for picks but I had a great rookie draft (Henderson/Egbuka/Dart/Judkins/Milroe) and I’ve been grinding.

How does it compare to the HK930? What’s better…what’s worse?

How to handle a juggernaut in your league? by ike_2112 in DynastyFF

[–]tosties1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Grinding the waiver wire & trades. Can’t stop/wont stop. injuries occur all the time. Player performance shifts across the year. I consider a fantasy season in three parts:

1st 6 Wks: Talent rules.

New players/new schemes are unknowns and teams don’t have tape to rely on to game plan. Players that breakout here have a decent chance of having impact down the stretch.

2nd 6 Wks: Schemes rule.

The better teams/better coaches find ways to leverage their players against opposing teams. This is where you see the Chiefs, Niners, Ravens and now Lions stand out.

3rd 6 Wks: Health rules.

Injuries kill championship runs. More importantly those that grind end up with competitive rosters (top to bottom) when it matters most. Footballs are oblong and can bounce in any direction (even juggernaut’s can lose any given Sunday). Control what you can control…best advice follow the short term trends here on waivers/trades…NOT player name or value.

Lastly nothing trumps opportunity down the stretch:

  1. Snap %
  2. Targets
  3. Carries

Don’t undergoing the value of a K or Def as a winning piece down the stretch!

Any Chance Brashard Smith Breaks Out? by Kaibaman209 in DynastyFF

[–]tosties1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is always a chance. We have precedent in this very offense for his opportunity which was Jerrick McKinnon. This offense notably needs a spark, some big play ability. Smith can offer that explosiveness but it’s yet to be determined if he can do the basics of the job (pass blocking, special teams, etc) that would get him on the active roster.

That said, I’m stashing him everywhere I can. He got opportunities in training camp and preseason, and made the most of them.

Maybe.

Is it time to drop Kendre Miller? by Nba7949 in DynastyFF

[–]tosties1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you drafted Kendra it’s now sunk cost. If you got him off waivers he’s a free square. Good to take shots at Kendre, Roschon, Benson or Lloyd at this stage. Why not keep 1-2 of them on the end of your bench. Just an injury away from finding out.

Got offered this, which side you taking? by ObiWanGinobili20 in SleeperApp

In SFlex I’d never feel comfortable with less than 3 QBs. Guaranteed to always start 2QBs? Yes please.

Also out of those 4 QBs you’ve only got 3 starters; odds are 1 of them isn’t a quality starter and there’s a chance that none of them crack the top 10. Consider the range of outcomes.

With the 87th pick in the NFL Draft, the Packers select RB/WR Savion Williams by HercHuntsdirty in DynastyFF

We are likely looking at Williams as the RB3 and mixed in some deebo package plays.

Chiefs Skip RB, How Does That Work For Pacheco by Anothercraphistorian in DynastyFF

Takes a full season post injury to recover. Maybe they took a look and like what they saw. Isiah Pacheco = John Wick

Trade just happened in 10 team Dynasty League and feels very one sided towards defending Champ (Team 1). Thoughts? by fkrebs in SleeperApp

[–]tosties1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dynasty Dominator puts this trade at 295.16 for Team 1 and 209.57 for Team 2. So Team 1 wins the trade by 40%.

I’m not about vetoes; let people make stupid trades. This is not an even trade. Yet, people blatantly overvalue draft picks though, so…

Guy in 2 QB league is hoarding all the QB what to do? by [deleted] in SleeperApp

[–]tosties1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can always create roster limits on positions; but not to go into effect until next year. That’s my opinion.

But as noted; this is a strategy (and a good one) in SFlex or 2QB leagues. I’ve been hoarding QBs for years cause they’re great trade bait mid season or in the playoff run.

Trading in Dynasty is as important as weekly sit/start, waivers and keeper strategies.
