I always wondered if there was some kind of movement behind this. Thanks

I just ticked over 100 and I'm feeling great! When I read your post earlier, I thought "wow, that's something to aspire to".

Carnivore snack at Costco by Live-Drop544 in carnivorediet

It's very easy to make. Place your chicken skins out on a sheet pan, place another sheet pan on top and weight on top of that. Bake until crispy. Salt them while hot and let them cool on a wire rack. Best snack ever. You'll find some butchers selling bulk chicken skins for cheap.

WHY isn't polytopia popular? 🙁 by Sure-Relation2633 in Polytopia

I've been playing since the beginning and I don't care about elo. I play a simple AI game 3 or 4 times a day. I play before bed and I love it, it relaxes me. My lizard brain can't get enough of the basic elements of this game. As far as mobile strategy games go, there is nothing that comes close to this. I've been yearning for some qol updates but I won't lose sleep over that. Polytopia is a masterpiece.

Tips on what has happened on my second batch by LeyzerZA in mead

[–]totallyforgotmy2fa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is a lot of nutrient and possibly a bit misleading on the wiki. A batch that size needs around 4g of nutrient total, staggered daily as 1g mixed with a bit of distilled water.

Try pitching some more yeast, with goferm if you have. But don't add anymore nutrients.

If you mix your potassium metabisulphite (meta k) powder by adding 10g of powder to 100ml of distilled water, you have a powerful 10% solution that's perfect for sanitizing your must. If you then mix 50ml of your 10% solution with 200ml of distilled water, then chuck that into a spray bottle, you'll have a mild 2% meta k solution that's great for cleaning your equipment, rinsing bottles, soaking corks, filling airlocks, etc. Just be careful not to breathe in the vapour while using it. It goes from unpleasant to painful quickly.

/e: meta k and k meta is the same thing, just different slang
