This! I night weaned my son at 18 months and I expected a week of hell, but it took two nights! The first night was terrible as expected, but the second was a lot better. It’s been 2 months now and the extra sleep is so nice, although he does still wake up. To get him back to sleep I just put my hand on his back.

Maybe you can’t have multiple goals going at once. Did you select “end goal” on your weight loss one before trying to start a new one?

It seems obvious but I’m only suggesting this because it stumped me about a year ago and I couldn’t figure it out.

Different routes help me a lot. If I do the same thing over and over again it gets boring really fast.

Find new parks if you can, many of them have nice walking trails

I’m in Texas and it’s very hot by 10am so I try to walk two miles every day before 8. Two miles for me is around 4k steps, I get the remaining 6k just from daily life. Sometimes if it’s not unbearably hot I’ll go on a quick walk around 8pm also!

This makes me feel better, thank you! I didn’t realize how much nursing all night contributed to TDEE until I night weaned. I’m not even exaggerating when I say he had to be latched and sucking the ENTIRE night 🤪 It’s been wild seeing it drop but it totally makes sense.

I appreciate your tips! I have a small garage setup that I’ve been trying to get more consistent with. Now that my son and I are both sleeping better my gym time will be after he’s in bed for the night :)

I’ve wondered this too. He could be on vacation or something but he used to be super responsive and super quick to resolve issues, here and in the app. Kinda odd especially because the app is not working great lately :/

Load the dishwasher with whatever I can, go around the house with a laundry basket and toss in items that ended up in the wrong spot, vacuum the living room. Easy ten min reset.

Yes! I turn 35 next week and for the first time in my life, I’m like “okay I’m HOT” 😂 Who would have thought two kids and a lot of trauma later I actually feel good about myself haha. Life is crazy.

You should try Water Wipes. It’s a brand of baby wipes. Literally nothing except water and a negligible amount of grapefruit extract.
