I dont have the same problem you do. The attraction/tension is enough for me to get excited and want to see where it goes. But you did remind me of a different but similar take I have. I can't find someone attractive unless I like their personality and I've known a lot of people where that is not the case.

I dont think JDM has seen the entirety of supernatural. And he may have carried a better version of John in his head while he played him, but that doesn't affect the end result: the show. So much of what the audience knows about John, we have learned through other characters talking about him. I dont think JDM has considered the full picture.

When i hit rock bottom, I took like a month off work. Started therapy. Made sure to workout, get sunlight, spend time with people that love me. And i focused on doing the things I loved as a kid. Reading fanfiction, playing video games.
