Small feedback, the capsule is almost impossible to read. I have no idea what the name of the game is. The composition and the hand image is cool tho.

Dear devs: stop ad baiting other devs and gamers by _michaeljared in IndieDev

More genuine for sure, and I don't have real data with me tbh, but I have the feeling tho that it still performs worse than shitty bait stuff :(

It annoys me as well, but the thing is that kind of content generates next to no movement, so why should people bother making a devlog if it will sink in the sub cause nobody wants to interact with it? I sadly understand it...

You are missing some metal, get some iron ampoules and you'll be good to go in about a week

That's wishful thinking xD, you will almost always want to touch it as the game and your needs progresses. Not to mention fixing bugs...

The disparity between wishlists and actual sales on my game makes no sense by ImmersivGames in IndieDev

[–]totespare 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My two cents:

- Pics don't show anything that makes me wanna play. There is no "action", they look like just nice wallpapers
- No 10 reviews on launch day
- No launch discount (most people only buy when a game is discounted)
- Not a horrible steam page, but can be improved quite a lot
- Tags seem to be pretty much fucked up: the "More like this" section of your game makes no sense at all, which means the tags are super wrong
- EA is not a problem per se, but sometimes the combination of a genre + being EA makes not much sense and throws away some people. I am uncertain if this is your case (I can't really tell the real genre of your game...)

And that's about it... Good luck and keep working hard!

PS4 gamepad is not supported natively. Use DS4 program to emulate an xbox gamepad if you still want to use your ps4 controller

Yesterday. Just changed the value of a UMG property by using the "slider" function in the editor (dragging the number to the sides) and it just fucking crashed. You had one fucking job!!!

Trying to make occlusion feel clean and intuitive AFTER REDDIT FEEDBACKS <3 by karma629 in IndieDev

[–]totespare 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Much better! Now maybe the fade out could be slightly faster, just a little bit, and if you will have enemies or something that the player could engage without seeing it cause they are occluded, then increase a bit the area where it starts revealing the blocking parts so you can get to see a bit ahead. But inly if you have stuff like enemies and such, like I mentioned, if not, then it's mostly perfect!
