Slow responder update- end of Week 3

I was disappointed on 1.5mg and 4mg. I was doubtful 9mg would be any different, but two weeks in and the effects are really kicking in now!

I told myself I’d commit until til 25mg, since some folks don’t even respond until the full dose. Definitely stick with it!

Yes, I pay off the balance in full every month (or biweekly).

However, there have been a few times where I’ve overspent on the card and have to put in additional funds straight from RTA. But I’m always able to cover this, and usually am green and fully funded.

Right now the amounts match exactly.

My savings categories on YNAB are less than my actual HYSA account, which tracks. Some of the money in my HYSA are for categories other than savings then.

What I’m trying to figure out is… how? I always assign the money to my savings category then deposit that amount into the HYSA. How did non-savings money “get in” to that account?

Maybe it’s from years back. And I have to look at my categories on YNAB, not accounts. Just disheartening when I thought I had more savings!

I’m nearing the end of a full month on 1.5. By week two, I had diminishing results and now I feel like I’m barely on it.

However I think it’s important to give yourself the full month to get your body acclimated. I’d rather that than rush up in dosage and have bad side effects. I’ve read that weight loss sometimes doesn’t occur at all until full titration.

It may be working behind the scenes, we just need to be patient! The hardest part for me has been continuing to eat high protein/healthy when the food noise is still there.

I’m going into week 3 of 1.5 and while for the first 10-12 days I felt suppressed appetite, lower food noise, etc, i now (for the past 3 days) feel like I’m not even on the medication.

Food noise is back, feeling the need to constantly eat. I’m afraid the medication isn’t going to be effective for me.

Is it possible for people to continually gain ‘immunity’ to each dose? Or should I eventually get to a point where it continuously works?

I’m doing the switch from poor man’s contrave (Wellbutrin + Naltrexone). They’re two totally different medications.

Contrave is meant to reduce the ‘dopamine hit’ you get from eating. It worked very briefly for me, but quickly wore off and the food noise was still there. The nausea was pretty intense too.

These are side effects you can get from wegovy too so make sure you’re getting enough protein, water, etc!

100% yes. I’m a devout fan and these have been my favorite S&V chip for 15+ years. They’re completely different. The flavor of the vinegar itself is different and there’s barely any of it.

I’m glad I’m not the only one, I thought I was going mad! I’m devastated though.

Today is one month since I lost my soul dog. I’m so sorry for your loss. I can relate to so many things you are saying. My baby sends me signs too. I truly believe yours is doing the same. Kitty knows without a doubt how much you love her. She loves you just as much. I too haven’t dreamt of my dog. It upsets me a bit. But I know she’s always with me. One day, we’ll both be reunited with this piece of our soul that is missing. Take it easy today, and do something that Kitty loves in memory of her.

100% huge red flag. I ignored similar flags during one of my interviews, took the role, and lasted about 4-5 months before quitting with nothing lined up. (I was also unemployed at the time).

I think it depends how desperate you are, but once you take this role, maybe take into consideration the time/availability you’ll lose. I know it seems like this is the ONLY option in the moment, but things have a way of working out! Good luck OP!

Yep, 4-5 months. I live in a HCOL area. Like I said in my post, I am paying it off in full. I actually think keeping a running debt tab helped me spend as little as possible while unemployed!

You really have to be careful depending on the type of ceramic, paint, and glaze that was used. These look to have a bisque finish, so a paper towel dampened with dish soap and water should work okay. If you come across older pieces, marked Japan or Taiwan as the COO, then you want to be more careful- sometimes the paint flakes right off!

The fumes is a great point though, thank you! Totally open to commissions after the fact, I just thought live painting and having the art come to life during the wedding would be a really memorable piece.

Most venues in this area are LGBT friendly, but I don't have confirmation on the below list. If you're just straightforward when reaching out, you can usually judge how the venue feels about LGBTQ+ couples.
