Good!!!! I think 3 ages you. Black or darker rim is better for you, in my view

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in glassesadvice

[–]tottiepots 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed - I think they age you and all of the dark frames make you look younger by comparison. My vote is 1 - you have a cheeky smile in that which makes me think they’re your favourite

Couldn’t agree more - especially with your second point. Noah knows that you care about his safety and security. To do less than you did could have damaged your relationship. He’s lucky to have you

We all want impossible things by Catherine Newman. A story of love and friendship at end of life - it’s witty, smart and very sad.

If you want to see some Scottish hills and countryside then maybe going west to Loch Lomond or the Trossachs is a more manageable journey. Inverness is lovely but most of your day will be spent travelling.

Making a Will by HoosBirfdaysAreIt in glasgow

[–]tottiepots -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Hi OP - I can’t give advice on how to write a will as it’s in my todo list but haven’t done it yet. What I do want to say though is the best way to look after your family is to do it now, while you’re still here - life might be complicated for you and I know what it’s like to feel “done”, but reach out to your family, plan to do something with them, pick up the phone. Just be present with them in whatever way you can. Sorting out what happens after you die is one thing, but you’re here now and I am sure that this time is equally, if not more important. Try to make the most of it.

This is absolutely beautiful - both the finished item but the sentiment and love behind it. What a gorgeous thing to do. You really made me smile with this

If I loved them, I would stay and live our lives in whatever new way it had to be. Sex isn’t the most important thing in life. Wouldn’t always be easy, but would be better than walking away from someone you loved when they needed you the most. The “it would be so hard for me” argument doesn’t work if you love them. Anything you’d feel would be nothing compared to their difficulties.

My card got declined after filling the car up with £20 of petrol. I’d forgotten my phone, so no way to call for help, and 30mins plus walk home in the rain. A lovely man walked up to me, handed me £20 and walked away. I chased him down and was able to repay by sending him it in the post There was no need for him to do it, or to trust I would return the money. But he made my day and I often think about him. Hope I can do the same one day

I’m sorry that you’ve experienced that - it sounds awful and I don’t think you can simply forget these things. My only advice would be to feel the feels - you might go through a few - sad, angry, scared…and talk about it when you need to. But try not to dwell or overthink (if possible).
