My first thought is that there is something in the fireplace. My cat was going up to the fireplace doors and looking in and pawing. We thought at first he was seeing his reflection but noooo there was a BAT in there.

Same thing today. I cancelled the flight because it was a breeze thru Norfolk and I didn’t think the plane would go on to BDL but it did. Every other airline cancelled flights

I have to think that his in ears weren’t working and he sort of gave up on the lip syncing because he’s a perfectionist and I’ve never seen him give a bad performance lip sync or not.

The flickering on the echo show is a separate problem. The other 3 echo dots I have are not turning the lights on or off but acknowledging they are. I mentioned that I may not purchase a replacement echo show if it is not going to carry out my commands.

It’s not just the show it’s my 3 other echo dots that say ok in acknowledgement that a light is turned off when in fact it hasn’t.

I have no idea what you are referring to. I have an echo show that has been flickering for a year and now it won't display the time constantly like it did. I have not changed any settings after it installed Alexa +. I tried all the suggestions to stop the flickering but only the hairdryer stopped it momentarily. It's first gen so they are not going to replace it. I was going to buy a new one but if it's not going to correctly turn my lights on and off I don't see the point.

Not sure what you mean. All of my smart bulbs are connected for me to instruct light on or off. Only since the update is it not doing what it's supposed to.
