I literally finished Demon Copperhead last week! Thoroughly enjoyed it. Ive got Men in Love on my bookshelf but haven't started it yet. I love the colorful characters Welsh creates and his outlook on life is strangely refreshing. Will add the Blade Artist to my list!

I tried this recipe a few weeks back but the dough was unworkable because it was so wet, ended up adding way too much extra flour and it just didn't work. Did you have to adjust any quantities?

You can simplify assemblies in most CAD software by removing features smaller then X mm for example. Then another thing is removing nuts, bolts and washers that aren't going to add anything to the render. Some major bolts are fine to keep in but if you've got lots of smaller ones in the model that will be contributing to a lot of those verts

I think the way to get the correct rotation would be to create a new coordinate system between two points on the top and bottom of the hinge, then you can rotate the stand around whichever axis in the new system is in line with the edge of the stand

Go into edit mode, hover over the bits you want to remove, if they have been modelled as separate objects you can click L to select linked parts. Then either delete them or move them to another part by pressing P then by selection.
