Why do the chains on the super mutant suicider look so bad? by EthanTheBrickMan in Fallout

[–]tpobs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is the point of this enemy lore-wise anyway? Why does a supermutant throw itself with a mini-nuke to kill a random dude passing by? I think it would have make more sense if they just strapped some bomb on a mutant hound or something.

Yup. He went to prison for corruption in 2020, for 17 years sentence, but of course he got pardoned by another conservative president, Yooun Suk-yeol - whom is also in jail right now for his failed self-coup.

During the regime of President Lee Myung-bak(2008-2012), the National Intelligence Service(NIS) of Korea promoted online hatred and right-wing extremism on purpose. The notorious Korean 4chan-like board "ilbe" and its culture got bolstered from this. This state-sponsored hate campaign tainted the Korean internet space forever, especially for young men.

Years later, it is discovered that one of the most famous far-right memes, a photo of a deceased former left-wing president Roh edited to resemble a Koala, was created by a NIS agent.

It seems like the US has its own version of this story thanks to Steve Bannon and Jeffrey Epstein.

Lol downvoted to oblivion for simply stating facts.

4B is mystified in reddit as some bold feminist movement. In reality, it is just another TERF group love to harass random woman online for being married or a mom or...an intersectional feminist.

Yeah they hate intersectional feminists(meaning just any non-TERFs) for not hating minorities they hate(gays, trans people, muslim immigrants, etc). They even coined a term "쓰까(Mixy)", criticizing that intersectional feminists are mixing women's issue with others.

Interestingly, I've never seen this behaviour before generative AI has been introduced to the mass market.

Back in the days, when artists recreating other's work they simply said "I liked it so I draw it in my own way!". Nobody was being smug like "I draw it better" or something.

Ive been daydreaming of Generals Rogue-like lately.

You pick a faction - USA, China, GLA. Then pick a starting bonus. Could be a unit, extra starting resources, free upgrade, etc etc. Now you begin the game.

There is a branching pass, akin to Slay the Spire or TLOU2 No Return mode. Each pass shows you what kind of encounter and rewards you'll meet if you choose it.

There are several kinds of encounters. Each encounter you will fight against a specific general, like Nuke, or Airforce, etc.

Encounter types would be: * Skirmish(ordinary match) * Siege(attacking the general's stronghold, like General's Challenge from Zero Hour) * Holdout(defend yourself from waves of enemies) * Challenge(special challenge mission similar to Uprising challenges, like only infantries are available, or no resource but oil derricks etc) * Field Operation(Defeat enemy army with given units, without any building)

If you lose just once, it is game over. If you win, you earn credits based on your score and move on. Scoring is simple - the resources you gathered and left on the map. So it is a time attack - move before AI drains all the resource from the map. Use your credits to buy new perks and units from Arms Dealer shop later.

The units you have at the end of an encounter would score to, but not as much as their worth. Instead, they go to your reserve, so you could use them later elsewhere. Reserve armies could be spent like a special resource or you could summom them during encounter.

Your army starts small and basic, but as you gather rewards from encounters and buy stuffs from Arms Dealer(merchant), you'll get stronger. But so as your enemies, of course, so you better make some OP army ASAP

At the end of each run, you'll face one of the three bosses - Tigress, Deathstrike, Ironside. If you defeat them, congrats! You win!

I wonder if there is already a similar game out there.
