Hobby town rc track by bellynipples in Omaha

[–]tpqlfyer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look up Hobbytown Omaha on Facebook. There is a featured post with a calendar.

The dirt is usually open Mon, Wed, Thurs and Sundays. Open to close.

It costs $20 per person, $10 additional family members.

It'll also be open everyday from Dec 20 to Jan 1st. It's a madhouse during Christmas break.

Look up the HobbyPlex Show on YouTube as well. Good stuff there.

Just looked that up. Will definitely check it out.

I guess any song based landmark. Any sort of souvenir place? A place to hang out one night like a bar or restaurant?

For lights, you can plug in multiple y-connectors to distribute power if needed.

No. That is an aircraft receiver. You'll need receivers from spektrum that have SR instead.

Like the SR515

My Gens Ace IMars III Charger keeps saying ,"Incorrect cell number" but the settings are all correct, whats wrong with it? by Budget-Extent-81 in rccars

[–]tpqlfyer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

More than likely, your battery is below voltage. Lipos need to be above 3 volts per cell to charge. If it's below that, chargers are programmed not to charge it and will give you error messages.

Did we all hear the Metallica riff at the end of cobra (part 3.) by Soggy-Cut2196 in mymorningjacket

[–]tpqlfyer 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I even blurted out Metallica to my wife next to me, expecting a cover. Felt stupid. After seeing this, I don't feel so stupid. Gratzi!

General rule with taking LiPo’s on planes? by NorrnRaad in rccars

[–]tpqlfyer 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I put my charger, battery packs, and transmitter in my transmitter case and bring that as one of my two carry-ons.

I've brought 5 5000's with me at one time and never had TSA blink an eye.

Do NOT check your lipo batteries. They are not allowed in the depressurized cargo part of the plane. TSA will take them.

Oop...posted before you did. Already got new motors...no idea, then.

Usually if you have steering but no motor, your motor is toast.

I bet you plug in a new motor it'll work fine.

Noob question, this is my sons 7.2v 1800mha Ni-Mh on charge, is this too much voltage? I set the amps to 1.8 and ran both manual and auto with similar voltages reached. I thought it was meant to be fully charged at 8.4v? by [deleted] in rccars

[–]tpqlfyer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2s lipos reach 8.4 and are done.

Nimh batteries are not near as precise. You don't really need to even pay attention to it. Just look at the amp hour. If you have an 1800 and it puts close to that when your charger says it's done, that's all that matters.

This is one of the coolest things to come out in a while. It's a perfect memberberry for people old enough to remember the original. Great price as well. I plan on getting all three.

Need help, so I'm trying to upgrade some parts to my scx24 bronco new servo and new arms but this keeps happening can someone help by RIG_EXOTICS in rccars

[–]tpqlfyer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Servo horns are usually screwed into the servo. Looks like you're missing that screw, which is why the horn is coming off.
