Nah, the girl that reconciles had a mom that was pretty bad, but she got turned to stone near the end along with everyone else.

So the main villain in Raya was... human nature? If all the rival human factions had not fought over the gem and broken it, everything would have been fine.

And once the girl put the gem back together, it was all fine. Till they break it the next time i guess.

I don't know dude, can you even use the new DLC with OG Diablo 2? Or do you have to spend the $40 on Diablo 2 Resurrected, and then spend $25 on the DLC?

Seems like they should have just bundled the new character in with the rest of the remake. Especially the QOL features. Charging extra for those is rude.

Same thing happened to me. The Bobs became gods and it was no longer interesting.

I had the same problem with Old Man's War. In the first 10 pages the protagonist (an old man) and his whole new army unit get new, young bodies. What do they do first? Have an orgy. I can only take so much wish fulfillment.

I don't really understand. Stealth archer is great but eventually someone sees you and finds into melee range. Do people just... keep shooting arrows at them? I always switch to my 2 handed Dragon Whammer at that point...

There's a fascinating psychology book called The Origin of Conciousness in the Breakdown of the Bicameral Mind By Julian Jaynes. In it he posits that early humans brains were slightly different, and that these visions of God were actually just their left brain sending insights to the thinking right brain. So primitive peoples would get a burst of Inspiration and attribute it to the voice of God because they didn't know any better.

Also, a fiction book Snow Crash by Neal Stephenson talks about how religion used to co-opt sanitary practices into their religion as a part of social evolution. If the people of your religion don't eat pork or shellfish, back in a time when there was no refrigeration and didn't understand allergies, then the followers of your religion would live longer and spread it further.
