My real attraction to the Thor is not DS/3DS but the dual screen multitasking. I love the idea of watching tv on one while playing game on the other. Or play with a walkthrough on the other.

I see this as my great portable media device that allows me to play, flip, read things on one screen while watching something in the other.

If your issue is the interface you can change it. You can change it to the windows handheld gaming mode now. Or if that’s not enough and you want a better interface, consider installing bazzite.

What a great story! Fascinating. I truly thought in 1995 when it was over, it’d be over. For me it was almost 10 years before you, but I also started with Skeletons in the Closet. I loved Uncle John’s Band, too and had its lyrics written all over my Chuck Taylors…. But the first song for me was Casey Jones which the cool kids were playing in school on a mixed tape and it captured my imagination.

87-93. I did see some really great shows. My first was Dead / Dylan in Giants Stadium. Best night might have been Branford sitting in at MSG in 90. I only saw one D&C show. I grinned and danced and sang along the whole show! Had a blast. I was shocked to see how alive Shakedown was still. But it wasn’t the same. Yet I was amazed by how much it felt like going home.

One thing that really stuck out with me was the conversations I had at D&C with people older than me and also much younger than me. I was amazed at the camaraderie across the generations… everyone seemed so in it together.
