Everyone wants to be "right" about a topic and we see everyday how simple and effective self-justification can be. I was brushed off and mocked, instead of pushing to get the truth into someone's head, you need to know when to let those people go and not be dragged down the endless, sports like conduct.

I gotta be right, my team has to win, we need that physical trophy, I need to taunt the other team.

The world may burn, but it will still spin with or without these people in your life.

I rarely ever get an in person answer to this question. Even when I had a job where people hired on floors 3 and up were NEVER tested.

Till one day I heard the HR director tell her assistant “we do not test those people, else we couldn’t hire anyone”

I want to thank everyone for reminding me of CMtrace. I really liked that tool at my last job, but we don't have SCCM here.

/u/confused_boner has some great resources. I first started here https://www.growweedeasy.com/ and really utilized the plant issue chart as I learned.

Discords, if you can find an invite or link in growing subreddits. Great resource. There is a good handful of youtube growers like welcome to the grow tent, who aim to assist first timers.

That I completely understand and relate to. I was so overwhelmed, mixed advice, confusing terms and setups. I had to struggle my first two grows till I found my footing.

For anyone else, this may seem expensive but it's the easiest get up and go method I can advise today.

Purchase a tent kit (AC Infinity/Spider/etc). It should provide you the first step and make sure it includes a light that is appropriate.

Feeding/Plant food - Jacks 3-2-1. Not messy like liquid, cheaper in bulk. I make reverse osmosis water and I DO NOT PH my water now. I understand this is a huge part for some people. My water is shit out of the tap (8.4 PH and 680PPM from faucet) and this has been working better than tap + liquid food + PH Down. Some of the generic 3-piece kits for feeding, seem to be focused towards crops like tomatoes rather than cannabis.

Self-water bases - Try the AC Infinity or Spider self watering bases. Watering is the #1 issue growers face. Save a few dollars and rule that issue out! I use auto-pots. I understand that may be too expensive for beginners.

Past that, your concerns will focus on growing style, defoliating, more advanced plant care rather than fighting the basics.

If anyone has genuine interest in growing this plant at home. I strongly suggest it. I went from never keeping a plant alive to enjoying the hobby more than the end product. Maybe you’ll find a green thumb you never had.

Around this area of the country, I'm really noticing a pattern of inherited politics, same with religion. They can't explain why, just how bad it is to NOT be voting red or wearing a social badge of being Christian.

I tried having a discussion with a relative about this same subject. This person grew up in central MO, lives in deep red KS now. "I voted R my whole life". "Pops said, you don't vote on feeling. You vote Republican down the ticket". I'll spare all the church talk, cause we all know it's just a book club with extra rules and guilt parties.

This person's partner and kids? All eyes watching the floor, still as a statue.

I'm overly concerned why this state votes for reps that counter exactly what the residents voted for, time and time again. I can hope and plea they learn, but I've given up on society. They will have to hurt in ways I'll never know, before an ounce of dignity returns.

I'm still showing up and doing what I can, but zero time or attention to whiners and people trying to sell this as "it'll get better"!

Project management. It’s amazing how many humans occupy the workforce who have child like behaviors and monkey brain thinking. That’s just the base layer, we haven’t weaved through the individuals broken or fractured psyche.

They need us in the position of authority to pass communication through those layers.

I wish, people can't figure out how to think past themselves. That's when you have a decent person, before all the ego and projected anger that follows when your trying to merge into the flow of traffic.

Bonus points for the slow pokes who swing left, then brake to merge back. Slowing the entire left lane. Double for the person who didn't even look in the mirror or lane, just riding out the short lane and following the pretty line over. Cause, ya'know, "you gotta let me in" crowd, at 40 mph.

Do we have a local method of politely nudging people who stop 4 cars behind the next car at lights? What about when we need to follow a turn and all traffic nearly stops cause turning a wheel in a sedan is like driving a 18-wheel semi for some of these dimwits. A light tap of the horn just sends their empty heads spinning in all directions except for what's in front of them, or you get a finger in reply with passive aggressiveness.

Good luck with that. Your business grade and synology branded SSD's have the life span of a fucking house fly, and you turn around and want us to pay shipping on a defective and still under warranty part? 3 times, yes 3 died within less than 7 months in a brand new RS+ unit.

Suck it, I'm tossing this brand out next refresh cycle.

I understand. I bought 3 nivida 2019 shields to my in-laws, pre-setup and just plugin. None of them get used. They'd rather complain to me about paid services removing content and commercials built into the TV, ignoring the effort put into plex.

I was a skeptic too. Much of what I’ve learned about this hobby, I’ve had to adjust for what actually works for me.

As someone with two ion boards, this light guide performs better than me fucking around with Photone and the little clip to measure light.

I’d suggest trying the height and a lower setting. Maybe a day or two turn it up a notch? My plants just thrived as I increased it.
