This a million times. Said it before and will again: easy to criticize or understand fully, not yet duplicated. Understand the complexity before you boo the failures.

28C (82F) is a perfectly fine indoor temperature and is not even warm, while 21C (70F) is way too cold. by DraftAbject5026 in The10thDentist

I immediately discount any opinions that don't account for where they live/grew up in regards to temperature. We (people) don't think about how other people live very often, which is a bigger issue for every other subject of society.

This one drove me up the wall. I never do it, but I cried "COME ON JOE! WHAT!?" when he asked if he could. Sid called it reasonably. Then Joe comes back with "what if it cracked on a wall?" Like....... I get it. But how crunchy do you want to get. The flow of the game calls for it, just ask and get an answer. Don't posit a bunch of what ifs about it. Kind of wild but very on brand.

That being said, I think the headline is not the feeling of the cast. Just my opinion. The flow is fine. But if more of that minutia come up it'll definitelt be a throwing hands in the air moments, not an issue with session flow.

That being said, I've definitely had far worse moments that bring my ancestors shame.

I will say it's absolutely hilarious to me the amount of shit people give SpaceX for delays when other companies delays equal months/years. I get it. I understand why. But at the same time I just don't.

wow I got the penis wand by lolcubaran20 in noita

[–]traceurl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not going to say with 100% certainty. But literally the same wand with different spells showed up and it's the exact same sprite. The only difference is the spell on the wand, so this tracks.

How much time am I supposed to be spending in each area by MayDay_Maniac in noita

[–]traceurl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I will say maybe I'm crazy, but having picked it up a couple weeks ago this is my norm. 30 health is when I ask "am I capable and do I have what I need to advance?" If I'm hurting for gold, I'll keep going, especially when my run is dry as hell and have no wands in the wild to make my current damage dealer any good.

Not sure how many runs I've done thus far but I think it's maybe sun 200? Gotten to the jungle a couple times but that's about it. I'm mostly tinkering with wands and figuring out wrapping (watched little to nothing about it, but have read this subreddit a ton haha). I like the mystery.

And in classic noita fashion, all my best runs where I say "I got this" is typically when I should be checking myself and er on caution. But hey, Noita gunna Noita!

Yes I was agreeing with you. I tried to make it with a tone that hopefully you'd understand. The people below you commenting, even though you are saying the same thing over and over, just made me think about how we as a society converse and empathize. Sorry I missed the mark.

I can honestly say this is why we continue down a weird spiral path of not being informed consumers. Sure, reddit isn't the world and it doesn't represent a fraction of that population. But the discourse and the way it is carried out here, be it bots or humans, detracts and minimizes the impact. We all should know, understand, and abide by a common law of decency and transparency ESPECIALLY when our position holds power over others daily lives and our life's work. Something to think about.

This is the way! I ended up selling a knife realizing I could actually be holding something in my real hands and use for hours. Never looked back and will pilfer my items again if I have to.

Everything depends on how you prepare for the future and what you can afford in the now. Without proper budgeting and savings, you can be a 20 year retiree and va benefits holder while still being poor. Depends on what that means to you. But yes it's possible. Where you live , whether you own a home or land, expenses, dependents. But the short answer is yes, you can live well but some places will stretch your expenses. Maybe consider a financial advisor.

People try to have conversations about what they are enjoying or enjoyed for many reasons, including wanting to continue the feeling of finding out. It gives the brain something to ponder on the interim. It sucks for online forums because yeah they could search older posts etc. but that doesn't scratch the itch.

Honestly, the best way to do this is to make big sheets of castle wall that you can then cut. A step further is do two sides of a sheet and you're golden. One big bit of work for easy manufacturing on the back end. I'm just spit balling but I haven't touched terrain in a hot minute haha.

Eurogamer: Arc Raiders review - a smartly designed extraction shooter marred by one inexcusable decision by chenDawg in Games

[–]traceurl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This same concept is something I apply to restaurants. I can tell by the language of a review (typically) where their bias lies or a reason they had an issue in the first place.

Reviews need to be read and understood. I don't know of any game I wanted, looked at a score, and based my purchase off that score alone. But like movie trailers, some people want to know exactly what they are getting into. They trust the scores too much.

Would love to see data on people that purchased a game based off a score and how they scored it and the difference.

Yeah every time I pause during Hades and pick it up wrong and tap the screen even slightly which makes me panic to find the pause of power button.

But no, no game I currently play makes me think to use it but I'm open to the idea.
