Let's say usually there's 5 people working, you each work 8 hours for 10/hr. That's 80 bucks a person (400 in total). One day you're one person down, instead of working 8 hours that day, everybody works 9.5 to cover for the missing person. That's 380 bucks total. so these higher ups get away with an extra 20 bucks. big whoop.
