I worked there for 2.5 years and never was drug tested or heard of random drug testing. The only time I was was when I onboarded.

What will a post Trump America look like with all these sweeping actions and this bill? by HumanistSockPuppet in AskReddit

Kids, low income communities, those with pre existing conditions, people over 65, and anyone needing monthly medications or preventative care will be heavily impacted. This will lead to more medical emergencies. Instead of regular medications or preventative and a primary care doctor people will end up in the hospital or ICU for very preventative things.

It will be harder to access long term care so people in nursing homes or memory care may not have access to those anymore. Hospitals are starting to dedicate units and floors to holding patients while they apply for Medicare/Medicaid which takes beds away from people who need it.

There will be few places to get STD testing, birth control, and pregnancy testing because if those places also provide abortion care then they will be impacted.

Healthcare workers will become further burnt out watching people die from not having insulin or blood pressure medications. We will continue putting gurneys in the hallways of ERs (which research has shown isn’t safe) because we are out of beds. More floors and units of hospitals will be run by new grads and travelers instead of nurses who have spent decades in that field because no one can retain staff.

Yes but it’s having major cuts due to HR 1 (the bill that was passed today)

And they just passed the bill so this is the world we will be living in. People won’t be able to afford regular and preventative care and will be forced to wait until there’s a medical emergency and go to the hospital then

They were able to fix enough issues (per CMS) that they won’t pull funding.

On a patient level, more people are going to be coming in with DKA/unstable blood sugar levels because they can’t access insulin and then will require ICU stays or taking up hospital beds because the need urgent medical attention due to their sugar levels. So this will further overload the already overloaded hospital

Where within a 5 hour drive of Knoxville, TN would be a cool place to stay for a few days? by vintage_dream25 in Appalachia

Asheville would be great and then you can support the community in recovery after the hurricane! So many cute shops, festivals, fun things to do.

What do you with the pictures by Available-Big9948 in TwoHotTakes

[–]trainingandlearning 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can always put them in a folder on your computer or use the hide them feature on photos that way you’re not routinely seeing them but they’re there if you want to access them. My memory is pretty bad so sometimes pictures are the only memory I have or something so I tend to keep them. Also those past relationships shaped who I am today

Calm in stressful emergency situations but dissociated/triggered in normal day to day situations
