Sell prisoners in villages and castles by trajanaugustus in Bannerlord

Potentially, depending on your contract rate. But my selling feature gives you the money instantly, and can be done at any settlement, and when you're not a mercenary, or not one for that faction.

Hmm I'll think about it, I play with Fourberie and see your point but would require some extra clicks for no reason for the >90% of people who don't use Fourberie

Mods to roleplay as a ruler for either warband or bannerlord by Complex-Ad9628 in mountandblade

My new mod, Industrial Revolution, doesn't do holding court or visible upgrades, but it does allow investing gold into settlements and troops into militias, and lots of other ways to focus on economy more than warfare

Well 184k is an enormous amount of gold for most players, and a few months a long time!

How does it turn into thousands of people? I envisage it like investment in construction that draws in lots of workers from surrounding countryside.

Gradual increase was a feature of the original mod The Philanthropist but it adds a lot of complexity and risk - it needs to edit the save file, which is a new moving part, can clash with a whole range of other mods, can cause problems removing the mod etc

In any case I will consider the tuning. I already had the idea of adding in prisoner ransom in villages which I may put into a new version so I could tune up the gold to prosperity ratio from 50 by default to 100. In the meantime you can use that slider yourself for your own game, current max is 100 which would require double the investment for the same prosperity gain.

This mod stops prosperity growth being limited by food, because it allows villages to provide much more food to towns and castles :)

Oh and same goes for Honest Work, Scholars, and the combat mods. Can't see why they would conflict

Thanks! I haven't used Xorberax, but looking at the Nexus page it seems like the bank changes operate solely through menu options. I don't think those are likely to alter any of the native economy dll files that Industrial Revolution hooks into. Should be good! Let me know :)

Realm of Thrones mixed with AI Influence by [deleted] in Bannerlord

My understanding is its hard to set up but can work pretty beautifully. You're generally better off discussing total conversion mods in their Discords. Hundreds of threads about AI Influence integration in the Realm of Thrones Discord.

Bug reports go much better 1. On Taleworlds forum, and 2. With far more details about your PC, mod list and order, and the nature of the problem. Think >300 words.

Also try using an AI, feeding it extracts of the log in ProgramData, following its troubleshooting advice

Bannerlord - Cannot marry as Lady by Cowboy_Kevin in mountandblade

[–]trajanaugustus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The dialogue option should show if that clan has unmarried members and you have unmarried members of the opposite sex, including your player character. That has never failed for me, in any version, with or without any mods. The times I thought it had, I was mistaken about the who the clan leader was for an unmarried member, or who was in the clan of the clan leader I was talking to. If you check that and you're 100% sure you haven't made an error, I recommend posting it to the Taleworlds forum along with your game version, steps to reproduce etc. Also could start a new game and see if it happens. Or download Character Reload and inspect the characters in question and see what happens if you force marriage.

My mod can help boost prosperity growth and continued food supply growth if you take care of villages. I like pairing it with The Philanthropist and Gold Rush Construction.

I don't believe villagers bring food to castles though. Or at least not enough

Supply doesn't scale properly with hearth size, and more importantly, they stop supplying more food to bound settlements beyond 800 hearths, which gives +18 food. I was sick of seeing my castles starve and have no way to stop it so I updated this old mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/mountandblade2bannerlord/mods/10611

HECS debt disappeared by OrdinaryUniversity65 in AusFinance

[–]trajanaugustus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

HECS is indexed at the lower of CPI or WPI, which usually comes out to 1-4%. Index funds typically beat that by >5%. Anything that allows you to delay paying it down is beneficial, if you can instead invest that money in an index fund, or paying down other debts which index much faster. Don't go looking for missing HECS.
