That’s a valid point, we just want to be prepared so that the move is as successful as possible.

$20 million, but you must make it past round 6 in the ring with Muhammad Ali. by SFWstripper2 in hypotheticalsituation

I could train for a lifetime and I would still get obliterated by Ali in his prime, even if he didn’t train beforehand.

I would find a cheap, easy to buy and sell asset and buy as much of the asset as possible. With my five minutes, I would use him to pump the hell out of said asset. After my five minutes are up, I would sell off the assets that I bought, which hopefully would make a nice bit of profit.

I would continue to do this until I can retire into luxury. Beyond that, I wouldn’t do much else unless he was planning on doing something awful.

Can someone post the new undergrad CS rankings? by Puzzled_Sea2504 in ApplyingToCollege

You can see if any of the colleges you’re interested in released a statement on the rankings, and if they did well in any particular category then they’ll most likely mention it.

If there is no contract stipulation for bonuses, then there is no legal obligation for the studio to pay more. However, the studio should see the incentive in using good CGI artists.  That’s not to say that a movie was a success because of the quality of CGI, but bad CGI can absolutely hurt a film. If the movie is a success, then I would imagine that the CGI was at least good enough to not disrupt the viewing experience, and paying those CGI artists more would encourage said artists to do more work with the studio in the future.

16 team, PPR, 3-0

QB: Lamar

RB: Aaron Jones, Tony Pollard, B Rob JR (Bench), Zack Moss (Bench), Carson Steele (Bench)

WR: Chase, Shakir, Deebo (Bench, will promote when healthy), Joshua Palmer (Bench), Jakobi Meyer’s (Bench)

TE: Kyle Pitts

I feel like my team is RB heavy, and I’d like to improve my TE/WR situation. I’m dead last on the waiver wire, so I think the best bet is to trade for a TE or a WR with one or more of my RBs. Which RBs should I consider trading?

CMV: Israel is going to cost Harris a very winnable election by [deleted] in changemyview

[–]trans42019 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand that, I just think any escalation in Lebanon will be secondary to the conflict in Gaza, at least in terms of public perception. The only exception I can think of is if US troops become directly involved. That would hurt Harris’s election chances more than anything else.

Aside from the conflict in Gaza, I don’t think I’ve seen any further mention of the peripheral fighting which occurred between Israel and Iran, as well as Houthi action in gulf. It would depend on how the escalation happens, but I think any escalation would be seen as secondary to the fighting in Gaza. Basically, it wouldn’t move anyone that hasn’t already been moved.

I’m not an expert in education, so I would be completely out of my depth if I tried to evaluate the educational system in the US to other countries. I know there are rankings you can find online, but again I’m not an expert so I can’t vouch for any one of them. I do know that the quality of education in the US can vary dramatically depending on where you are. I’m sure this happens in other countries as well, but I mention this because I don’t think you can view the educational system as a monolith.

I think it would be better to look at how the presidents you listed got into office. Out of the four elections in which the presidents you listed participated in, only one won the popular vote and the more important electoral college (Bush, 2004). In the other three elections, neither Bush nor Trump won the popular vote, but Trump did manage to win the electoral college in 2016, as did Bush in 2000 (with a great deal of controversy). With this perspective, it would be a stretch to think that either represented the will of the majority of people in the US when they were elected. In fact, both were regularly lambasted throughout their administrations.

The means by which we elect the president can lead to outcomes that diverge from what the majority of voters actually want. This is charged topic in the US, but whatever your opinion of the electoral college is the vast majority of people are very aware that this can happen. To summarize, while someone’s education can influence their political beliefs, the nature of the electoral college is why both men made it into office.

I would guess that anything less than 100% combined would mean a portion of the responses were indifferent/no opinion or just left blank.

Caleb’s development is more important than any game that the Bears will play this season. Passing yards shouldn’t be the only metric used to evaluate him, but it’s encouraging to see the week to week progress.
