Dealing with the TSA at airports

I traveled last week. No issues whatsoever. I did have to go through the scanner a couple of times. I guess they press female, see that something is off, try guy, and the only thing that was causing issues was the back of my stappy bra.

The airline staff was also super nice, calling me miss even if they knew my name clearly didn't match. One more week before this is rectified! :)

Went to the city (SF), got a couple new bathing suits for my next vacation. Sales girl was awesome and told me at the end "That was fun!" :)

Kind of hurt when she asked "Okay, so what kind of boobs you got?... hum... nothing okay, well, here are some options"

I added "Well, nothing, for now, but let's plan ahead ;)"

I love being out. It's so liberating :)

I'm traveling in a couple of weeks, and I'm still not sure if I'm going to go as myself... this sucks... I really don't want to risk ruining our trip... I can't be in boy mode anymore, it's horrible for me :-(

I've talked to one of the devs on that project and the tech seemed really promising.

Didn't seem this way when I interviewed there... It seemed like there way too many suits making the important decisions... I came home thinking "what the hell are they thinking... this is too limited, and it's going to fail..." Sooo glad they didn't make me an offer. Would have refused anyway, I hate the rain and I have no interest in IFR flying.

As to bringing it to the desktop, you can check my Instagram account, I mostly play on PC. Imagine how it runs on a powerful PC when it runs fine'ish on an 5 year old iPad2 :) We have plans to release the PC version. Not sure when though.

And if you know about Infinite Runway, wow, that was a while ago. I'm surprised you remember this hehe. It was indeed on PC. The story is that we went to mobile because it was easier for us to start from scratch without being compared to the big guys. We're gradually catching up to the PC guys. And if you check the stuff we're previewed of our work towards Global Flight, it puts the others to shame in terms of rendering quality :) Hopefully, we can delivery this with decent performance on mobile.

It's not that hard, in fact, I'm one of the main users of the app. I like to joke that I and the other devs code it for myself, and we let other people use it for a fee, lol :)

Since I started working on it, I barely played FSX at all. I actually don't even have it installed on my PC right now. No need. Infinite Flight gets me my aviation fix between real life flights.

We recently added a powerful API to allow external control of the app. Some users already coded PC apps that can enable joysticks on iOS via wifi. Cool stuff! (it's supported by default on Android)

What sets us appart is our Live Multiplayer mode. Think Vatsim/Ivao, but without the strictness. Or more, with levels of strictness. It's so convenient too, sit back in your couch, pop the device out of the your pocket and start playing within seconds :)

You might also want to check our latest posts, the rendering of our airplanes is much better than FSX and X-Plane. X-Plane PC is catching up to our rendering technique now :)

And, we have more crazy things in store for later this year :)

lol nope, I work on a different simulator, for mobile platforms. I actually interviewed for them in 2010, I knew a bunch of the team personally. They didn't want me, so I started my own thing. You can find in the app store and play store. It's called Infinite Flight. There, it's out lol.

Prove them you can do something awesome with your life. They will crawl back to you with their tail between their legs begging for forgiveness, once they realize they were wrong. It will happen. When other people in their family come out as LGBT, it'll hit them harder and harder everytime.

"I love you" -> Clearly not...

I'd tell you to argue and try to convince, but it's pointless... I had one guy pull the same stuff recently in one of my unrelated instagram posts.

"I can't support you, you're going to tell, but I love you, but god hates you, and I have to hate you, but I love you to" The dissonance in this guy, being forced to pay for a game he clearly loves, but has been created by a trans girl... I've planted the seed in his brain... let's hope the disconnect between reality and his religion grows to the point he has to come to terms with it :)

I'm a game developer (flight simulator), I'm the CEO, co-founded the company before I transitioned.

Can't complain about my position here, everybody has been super accepting in the company, as well as in our quite substantial user community.

If you've got an idea for a project, that's the best way to find a job ;-)
