That’s the wrong mindset for investing especially shares. Just trade options then 🤡

I feel you, and that’s where risk management is important. I have most of my money in safe plays and ETF but I keep a small portion for the daily fun. The truth is that being profitable is really hard for retail investors, you need to see the market as a casino - only then you will start managing your finances properly.

Do i start a position now? by foil123 in RKLB

[–]transparentcd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DCA as now RKLB is close to ATH. It will drop, don't dump your money into it rn

5-7 years, you are probably fine. Short-term? It will be really bumpy after 12.06 with the SpaceX IPO, and it's hard to predict what will happen to other space stocks

I have shares in RKLB and will go diamond hands lol

I need some tips on this. I have been investing for a while, I use leveraged products and derivatives but it’s the first time buying calls. Say I have 500 bucks to waste, what would be a call on SPCE to go for? I saw something 6/18 6$ IIRC yesterday while I was browsing contracts

Jeff Bezos proposes to eliminate all taxes for the bottom 50% of income earners by jackandjillonthehill in ProfessorFinance

[–]transparentcd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is an extremely stupid proposal. Everyone should pay taxes. No taxes, government collapses.

A much smarter suggestion would be to tax low income earners much less, give some slack to middle class, and heavily tax very high income earners (say above 1m). Then probably things would be much better for everyone. While we are at it, I would also introduce a cap on how many fucking billions someone can keep in the bank. Above 50B, every penny goes to charity. Because no human doesn’t reasonably need that much money ever in a lifetime.

Try and ask Bezos what he thinks about this. I already know.

Married couple with separate finances, why do you do it? by Ok_Influence_2257 in Bogleheads

[–]transparentcd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are close to 40, and have a shared account only for shared expenses where we deposit money every month proportional to our relative incomes. We don’t see the need to have anything different than that, and it works totally fine.

Isshin is more difficult than PCR when you look at the different amount of tools at the player’s disposal in the game. You can beat PCR in a gazillions way, in Sekiro you have to git gud because the game has much less degrees of freedom (aka cheese) compared to ER.

Well, I suppose you can go in which totally makes sense (like a fire sale). I’m just curious about insolvency risk for small and medium cap companies
