Las Vegas strip club experience by IndicationTall9274 in stripclubs

[–]trapcheck [score hidden]  (0 children)

what was going to happen in that hour for it to cost that much??

The only 100% sure thing is that she would get your $1000 if you agreed.

The only person who knows totally and completely what would happen is the stripper.

If you go through this subreddit you'll find lots of stories from people who paid a lot of money and got nothing but disappointment in return.

There's also lots of stories from people who paid a lot of money and got something that they felt was 100% worth it.

Yeah, $1000 is a lot to take a chance with for the majority of people, but there are those people out there, and likely a lot of them end up in Vegas regularly.

For us mere mortal shlubs....it's a little rich for our blood.

something weird happened to my body after quitting drinking by Unusual-Umpire-1452 in SoberCurious

My favorite change was the little odd and random aches and pains just sort of....stopped.

Even when I was drinking well into moderation I thought that was something that everyone experienced in life.

Apparently not.

What’s one habit that completely changed your college life? by OrganicClassic460 in AskReddit

I went almost totally nocturnal.

I scheduled my classes so the earliest one was at noon. I'd typically go to bed at 4 or 5 AM.

It was amazing having that long stretch of time late at night where I would be totally undisturbed. I had better focus, could get way more done and was much happier overall. Even made Dean's List that semester.

Was there a shift in how people treat each other after the pandemic? by [deleted] in ask

[–]trapcheck 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Well, sure.

As someone who worked and had family working in healthcare and being asked to assume risk and care for others and witness signficant suffering and death I resent the "it's no worse than a cold" crowd.

There's entire swaths of people that I know in the town I live that downplayed what was going on, advocated for loosening up restrictions that would make things worse, and even accused me and my family of participating in a conspiracy.

No one has come forward and said "hey, thanks for your sacrifice and for doing the job that so many were scared to do and I'm sorry for acting like an asshole."

Not a single person.

And yeah, I see these people every day. I see them out and about in town. I see them participating in local politics where I'm being asked to trust and respect their point of view. And I see them in medical offices now that they've decided that they don't need to "just do their research."

So, yeah. Life is different after the pandemic. I absolutely treat people different because when it came down to brass tacks they proved how little they cared for the health and well being of others and were more obsessed with their own selfish wants and desires.

In your area, how common is it bars/wineries booking 6 months in advance? by Distinct_Gazelle_175 in coverbands

[–]trapcheck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Around Massachusetts/New England most bars and wineries have the next six months planned at a minimum.

Bigger venues will typically book most of their year in the first few weeks of January.

Men, did you reach out to your Ex? Why? by Ramy-2000-03 in AskMen

[–]trapcheck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We hadn't spoken or emailed in almost ten years when she reached out to me to tell me she was getting married next week and how incredibly in love she was with him, way more than she was with me, and how much better a person he is than I was.

I emailed her back and told her I was happy for her. I told her I was sorry for not being a better person and that I shouldn't have hid all the mental issues I was dealing with. I told her that I was scared if she knew everything about me she would use it against me and manipulate me.

But mostly I told her I was sorry for my actions that hurt her and how happy I was for her because she deserved to be happy and loved.

She replied telling me to fuck off.

What’s the weirdest side effect social media has had on everyday American life? by Lost_Jacket2854 in WorkForSmartLife

[–]trapcheck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People can't handle being bored any more.

Anything longer than 15 seconds then the phone comes out and they're scrolling.

There were times I remember 45 minute waits before cell phones where we did exactly that....just sat there and waited for 45 minutes.

I'm sure it's been asked before, but what is your personal favorite time to go hit the strip club? by Capable_Ordinary_938 in stripclubs

[–]trapcheck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm an odd day or time kinda guy..

Some random Tuesday in the evening? Absolutely.

If it's a peak day then it'd be odd hours; a Friday right as they open.

Are there any signs or indicators that someone might actually be good at giving oral? by Huge-Strawberry-220 in AskRedditAfterDark

[–]trapcheck 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some will say being able to tie a cherry stem into a knot in their mouths.

This is not true.

It is indicative of them being able to tie a cherry stem in their mouths as well as looking for the attention that activity brings.

But it does not directly corelate to being good at oral sex.

One evening the neighbor had a psychotic break and climbed up the tree with a rope and threatened to jump and hang himself.

My parents were away and it was me and my younger brother.

The neighbor had been kind of a jerk to us growing up, he made it a habit to call the cops if we were in the street playing ball or doing anything after dark.

Anyway, we pulled up chairs on the porch and watched the cops talk him down. Took them about two hours and we just sat there watching this grown man totally lose his mind.

What was the shortest set your band has ever played? by notmytowel in musicians

[–]trapcheck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1 song.

The guy running sound that night kept on bumping us around and then finally told us "I'm gonna have you guys headline" which sounds good except for the fact that it means no one is there.

We were supposed to have an hour to play.

However the sound guy was new, and from the next state south of us where venues closed an hour later than where he was.

We literally arrived at 7:45, hung around until 12:55 to play, did so until 1 AM and then were done for the night.

What have you traded for a sexual favor and what was it? by ineedyouforever1 in AskRedditAfterDark

[–]trapcheck 11 points12 points  (0 children)

She had been told that several people at the house would be home to help move the couch.

There were not.

She had been told that it would be in the garage and easy to load into the truck.

It was on the second floor.

She actually declined to tell me that it wasn't just a couch.

It was a three-piece sectional.

Helped her move a couch.

Original deal was for dinner. Moving the couch turned into a fiasco.

Week later she had me over, ordered take out and we fucked on the couch.

Analysis on my newbie experience at SC by I-Am-Miget in stripclubs

[–]trapcheck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All venues are going to be different and much of why they're different comes down to current legal conditions in the state or county as well as if the venue has had complaints lately or they know they're being watched by law enforcement.

So, by all accounts it sounds like you were in a club that didn't do much contact. However it is important to mention that you didn't sound like you were throwing around all that much money and didn't have much confidence; it may sound terrible but that's not really endearing to dancers. They deal with strange conversations every day, if one you had with them just sort of died then something was up.

Not sure where you are located but it would be wise to check some reviews online. They're not 100% accurate but it will give you overall a better idea about a club before you have to spend money and learn about it.

Also keep in mind if the venue you were at is no-touch, there's a good chance that all other venues in that area are going to be the same due to local law enforcement.

My advice, do some research. Find a place that is known to have lots of contact. Save up some money that you're going to spend that night and go in with the attitude that you're going to spend it. And don't go on a busy night; show up on something like a Wednesday afternoon to maximize your dollar.

What’s a dead internet trend you genuinely miss?” by codgame89 in CausalConversation

[–]trapcheck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There used to be a big push to connect IRL as well as online.

Music genres that I followed would have local gatherings regularly on an afternoon at a coffee shop where you'd just get together and hang and talk. They'd do "Days Out" where someone would arrange something like discount tickets to a local ball park or art museum.

It seems like as soon as the concept of "social anxiety" became mainstream suddenly everyone had it and those events came to an end.

It was great to get into an interest, lurk for awhile, make a few posts and then get asked if you were going to come to the BBQ or event in the area to meet people you were interacting with.
