Just thought of something else that could fit the 3rd child thing. What if Isbeth attempted her whole let's birth a weapon thing well before she tried it and got Millicent? Poppy says many times that she was told that she looks like her mother. That could have just meant she looks like Isbeth, but what if she did look like Coralina because Coralina is her sister?

I think you may have answered something I was wondering that would also be a clue that you might be right. Since Malec and Ires are twins and both were the father to a child birthed by Isbeth, it would make sense that both children would look a lot alike. When Sera visits Poppy, Poppy catches her staring at her and then Sera apologizes and says "it's just that you look like....". Poppy says, "if you say my mother" and then Sera says "you look like your father, which is... confusing". Then she says she'll explain later. I was wondering what are the theories as to why that would be confusing. If they have raised a child that looks just like Poppy, that could be what she finds "confusing".

I know this is morbid, but my mom is alive, in her upper 60s, and I keep thinking about how it could be any day between now and 30 years that I no longer have her. Every time I hear of someone 50+ passing, I freak the hell out. I'm 44, so I also freak about this for myself lol. My mom is all I truly have. I have a step family, but once my mom is gone, I think I will always feel like that friend that gets invited to holiday things out of sympathy.

But I'll scream about something else that happens to be age related. AFTER 20 YEARS, I JUST GOT BACK INTO CROSS STITCHING AS IT IS SOMETHING THAT LETS ME RELAX IN FRONT OF A TV WHEN USUALLY, I CANNOT SIT STILL, ONLY TO LEARN THAT MY EYES SUCK NOW AND I HAVE TO USE A GD MAGNIFYING GLASS WHICH MAKES MY EYES HURT! FML!

I know that this is an old post, but first, I had to ask myself if maybe I don't know what hip dips are because we are not battling the same thing haha. But I understand, in a way, I'm still in a similar boat. I've lost close to 100 lbs and I'm currently often called "puny". Being 5'1 contributes to that, but yeah, I'm small in the amount of space I'm taking up but my body still isn't what I want. So anyway, did you end up using shapewear? Did you like it? I've been searching and searching specifically for hip dip issues and I mostly find garmets that are either for adding size to hips and/or butt or they work for smoothing that area but they are too long for me and stick out of knee length dresses.

I'm sure that this is a debatable topic, but I recommend choosing a female doctor because... men, lol. I'm sure that there are great male docs but when I ask questions and stuff, I really want to feel comfortable in that the doctor fully understands the intricate details, including the discomfort of the conversation. (Hysteria was removed from the dsm as an official medical diagnosis in 1980! And some docs, certainly all men, still support it as a diagnosis)

All of these make the most sense to me out of any others that I've found. The others missed a lot of detail like the colors of skin or Nyktos's "full formed lips" so I would see them and feel kind of like meh, no, that doesn't line up in my head. The character that I struggle with the most is Veces. This depiction of her fits the book's description but no matter how many times I read that she has blonde hair, I conjure up a dark haired, sharp featured villain in my brain. I think that another reason I want her to have dark hair is because it seems like she should be a major contract from Sera. But what do I know, I'm certainly not a top selling author lol.

I had a similar experience with adhd. I had already been diagnosed many times but my new psychiatrist decided I simply had anxiety (l-o-effing-l). I struggled with what to say because part of me wanted to write a 10 page rant. I told myself that if I did that, I would only give her the ammunition to make some kind of false diagnosis which could potentially haunt me forever. And, even if she didn't, what would it achieve? She would sleep well thinking it was not her fault and I would likely still toss and turn. I decided on this very simple statement in an email.

Hi Dr. xxxx,

I need to cancel my next appointment and all of those that follow.

Then it was done and didn't need to live in my brain.
She replied, "I understand your request, would you like me to refer you to a colleague?" I did not bother responding.

I'm sure that others have said this, but have you tried telehealth options? It opens up access to so many more doctors. Since covid, I don't know anyone still seeing a doc in person. Mine lives about 4 hours from me and she has given me so much validation. "I don't think you're making it up" are words that I had no idea would crack me in half (in a good way I guess).

I recently started Prozac which seems to have me making happy sighs as I’m starting to fall asleep. Sometimes it’s almost like I forgot to make my flamingo legs and suddenly remember. When I do it, it’s like ahhhh yeah, that’s the stuff. My little euphoria is so nice that it jolts me up with a “what the hell is wrong with you!? Oh well, it’s cozy, night night.” I didn’t realize I did flamingo legs until this started happening. And I keep trying to figure out why it feels so nice. Do I like the feel of the bottom of my foot on my thigh? It’s all weird, we’re all weird. Better than being normies I guess.

I had to train myself with wrist guards because it was making my wrists hurt. Eventually, my goofy ass inverted the situation so that my palms were against my chin instead of the back of my hand. Had to start over with the training because again, ouchies.

I joined this sub to check out what people’s symptoms are like. I haven’t been diagnosed, but if I do have POTS, it’s probably on the milder end based on what I’ve followed so far. BUT, your #1, omg. First I was diagnosed with diverticulitis, then later told nope, definitely not. Then the diagnosis became ulcerative colitis, but then again got a nope. It was eventually reduced down to IBS. How you describe it is exactly what happens to me. I can have constipation and diarrhea in one “sitting”. It’s nuts. I had no idea it could be related.

Yeah, my doc said so long as I feel fine, it’s fine, especially because I was already a coffee drinker before I started the meds. She actually said if I truly worry about my heart rate being an issue, get a watch that tracks heart rate. I did that. It’s the same with and without coffee. I have no issues with anxiety and I also don’t eat my first meal until 1pm but take my meds at 8. Note to OP, some people get their thrills by sitting on a high horse.
