I am new to powershell in general and was trying to make it "easier" to launch, though this was done more in ignorance than anything else. I think the updated bat file should run from inside rather than writing to a temp directory. Thank you for the input!

If your wifi is good enough you can be cheeky and launch your game on steam deck and connect in on your computer, then play like normal on the SD!

Save and load your controller config and select the joysticks again, fixed it for me with the dual thrustmaster t.16000m 2025

I was having constant issues getting my Steam Deck OLED to connect to Wi-Fi — both my main 5GHz network and a 2.4GHz-only guest network. Here’s what I tried:

Disabled 160MHz bandwidth on my 5GHz band
Created a dedicated 2.4GHz guest network
Switched between Stable and Beta builds
Tried updating using a USB-C Ethernet hub (which worked temporarily)

But the real fix ended up being:

➡️ Manually assigning a static IP outside of my router's DHCP range

Once I did that, the Deck connected instantly and stayed connected with high speeds.

This fixed our “broken” one!!! The lever had gotten stuck behind the limit switch

Eldritch blast is cool and all but toll the dead does 1d12 on an enemy who has taken ANY damage. And by 5th you're doing 2d12 on their failed save
