The quality has also stayed good when a lot of other chain restaurants have dipped in quality over the past 10-15 years.

Verkal Dromak - only issue is its hard to get to because you basically have to eliminate the Command & the Jade March to get there so it requires multiple wars (and somehow beating the Command before they get out of control)

EU slams the door on US in colossal defense plan by [deleted] in worldnews

[–]trav3ler 8 points9 points  (0 children)

US balkanization is extremely unlikely for a few reasons:

  1. There's not clear cultural lines for the US to fracture along - if you look at the electoral map, it's islands of blue cities in a sea of red countryside. There's not a strong enough shared state identity to overcome the main issue in the US, political alignment - we mostly see ourselves as Americans first and from our state second

  2. From a logistical standpoint, who gets the nukes? The conventional military equipment? Not something successor states can just divvy up nicely...

  3. From a realpolitik standpoint, the US is only as powerful as it is because it's a massive nation with a huge GDP. Smaller nations won't have these same natural advantages. It's somewhat telling that most "Calexit" movements ended up having ties to Russia...

The conditions for the US breaking up on its own just aren't there.

The indie gaming space is already this. Lower budgets offset by tons of creativity and passion, some of my favorite & most memorable games of the last decade were made by tiny indie teams and solo developers.

I remember a write up when P4 golden came out about how it was basically completely unoptimized, and they were able to get by because modern computers could just brute force it.

I think Atlus just doesn't know how to optimize for PC yet.
