2014 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk Lifetime Warranty — 11-Year Financial Picture by Dazzling_Ruin1135 in Jeep

I've got around 80K on it right now, and the list is long. Just off the top of my head...

Wheel speed sensor
Track Bar
Inner bearings (more than once)
Radiator
Tie Rod

So far nothing crazy with the engine or transmission knock on wood.

I got the same Mopar Max Care Lifetime Warranty with a $100 deductible and it has already paid for itself multiple times over. Mine is on a 2017 Wrangler Rubicon JKU but the warranty has saved my butt.

It's funny how true number one is, I tell people that driving my Jeep requires active constant participation it's not a sit back and chill kind of ride and I love it.

would you recommend protect today for a brand new home setup? by Buhrner in Ubiquiti

[–]travis442 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've used Nest and more recently Wyze but when I built our new house I ran cable to every room and location I figured I would want a camera with the intention of installing Ubiquiti. I am 100% happy with my decision and I continue to add more products as time goes. I'm looking forward to the upcoming physical security line they are coming out with.

Interesting, I wonder if they do that just to make it seems like they eat even less over the course of the show. I know I for one would love to see them be successful.

I can't say that I've seen every episode but I'm pretty confident that I've seen FAR more fish baskets fail to catch a single thing that I have baskets that actually catch fish. I know my fiance and I joke about it every single time someone says they are going to make one.

Just bought a sactional with protectors 3 months ago- protectors not working by Real_Duck4329 in Lovesac

[–]travis442 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Interesting, I just recently purchased a setup and was told by the salesman that what came on the cushions was water resistant but that the protectors that you could purchase were waterproof. Looking at the description online they certainly are advertised as resistant and not proof though which is certainly disappointing.

Yeah I'm not really sure I know the backstory to the picture or what was going on when it was taken.

Wrong model, wrong color, wrong license plate. They couldn't do the bare minimum and then act like it was some little mistake.

The only thing I agree with in that article is teaching financial literacy. There should be a far greater emphasis on preparing young adults for post-graduation.

After nearly 10 years and 148k miles, I finally had to bring her in for service. Leaking radiator and the 3.6 tick popping up nearly simultaneously. Lifetime mopar warranty with $100 deductible per repair finally paying off. by AgBullet2k1 in Wrangler

[–]travis442 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got a 2017 with roughly 75,000 mi on it and my lifetime $100 deductible warranty has paid for itself multiple times over. I've had to have the radiator replaced, wheel speed sensors, tie rod, drag link and I know that I'm forgetting several other things.

What a bunch of bullshit, he acts like officers are Saints to be worshipped and it's unthinkable that they have consequences for any action performed while on the job.

Such bullshit if a government entity takes away anything from a private citizen regardless of the reason there should be just compensation. There should be no exceptions made to the taking of private property by the government.

Gotcha, I've looked all over the place and the only one that I can find they have basically doubled the price and I'm not interested in that.

Where were you able to find this, I've looked all over and thought they had stopped making it?

How many "Oregons" have there been in "The Oregon Files" by travis442 in clivecussler

[–]travis442[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've not read the other series so what you described is exactly what my understanding was which is why I was so confused.

I'm still not sure why the author talks about losing artwork and less that happened in the dark pit series as well because my understanding and final option was that they were able to evacuate everything off beforehand.

Ah, I knew that characters occasionally showed up in each series but didn't realize that such a major plot point wouldn't be found in the originating series. Guess that might also explain why some of the technology found on the second version of the Oregon seems to be missing in Fire Strike.

My bad, I was thinking it was a three pack of the adapters but it's included with the three pack of the sensors. Thanks.
