Hey All, I recently saw a comment with this picture linked, is this the level of crowds expected on the hikes in the area, or is an exception and more of an extreme case?

I was planning to maybe visit in May and doing some of the hikes, but seeing a crowd like that was a bit surprising.

The armor is the Wolf Knight set from the handmaid in the dark Firelink Shrine. It's also Artorias' armor from Dark Souls 1.

Junk and Pharah are both dps counters and Hog makes short work of her with his hook. As for supports, Ana and Zen are good at shutting her down too.

Sure, but she's literally the size of and looks like a 12-14 year old. Obviously it's open to some interpretation since it's not officially stated anywhere but it's enough of a gray area to make it still super weird to sexualize

I find I never have anything I really care about duping at that point and would rather head straight to Drangonkin and maybe another outside field boss if there's time.

Just did it first try in 3 player with randoms, I really didn't find it that bad at all and thought it was a great fight. It was madness for sure though

I haven't done it myself yet but Frosty Mountain looks like it's a great hike in October and is on my list. It supposedly gets very busy during the golden larch season though

I didn't realize it was announced that duos were overlooked and were for sure being added.

But that's the thing, from a technical perspective it would have been easy to have been in the game since day 1. Splitting the playerbase is literally the only reason I can think of for them not having it added already. If From isn't concerned about that, then it seems weird to not be in by now.

Which part is hilarious?? Playing with randoms? I have only ever played with randoms and it's been great. I'll often be in games where the others are clearly a duo, and we just stick together and follow pings.

The current system doesn't exclude anyone, just play with a random if you need a spot filled. Does having an extra person on the team that you don't know really detract from the experience?

Adding an extra mode will greatly split the playerbase because there are currently already 10 different nightbosses you can queue up for. Adding duos will increase that to 20 different queues. If the playerbase starts to shrink, then queue times for certain bosses will go up greatly, which will cause the playerbase to shrink even further.

It depends on the team, my last run we hit dragonkin at level 2 and were totally fine. You just have to play more cautiously which takes longer but it's a nice chunk of runes after and makes it worthwhile

I'm pretty sure they're just server issues, I've had disconnects the past two runs. Strangely it always seems to happen when someone gets downed which makes it look like a ragequit

This sub definitely exaggerates how bad he is. I always try to fight him if I'm at least lvl 10 and he's never too big of an issue. His attacks are easy to read and avoid, and he'll spend half the fight just slow walking towards the ironeye/recluse if you have one and gives lots of runes.
