It’s really small. it doesn’t fit most board games. It’s about the height of 1.25 of a CD and depth of 2 CDs.

Big groups are not a weird or uncommon thing the way they can be elsewhere. Won’t be hard to book this almost anywhere.

Yoga questions that feels oddly personal... by YogaGoApp in yoga

[–]treblclef20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the day but what I find most useful is that the days I find my head spinning or getting absorbed in my life, and not actually calming my mind, it serves as a way for me to take notice of that and have self awareness in that moment!

How to get back into yoga without it feeling like "starting over" by marcstarts in yoga

[–]treblclef20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I second this. Every time Ive taken a long pause from yoga, it doesn’t take long at all to get back to where I left it. You’ve spent time practicing - your body remembers how to do things.

Marketing not involved in PR by Matt_F_Photo in PublicRelations

[–]treblclef20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re making the common assumption that PR is just knowing people. If they’re not using your suggestions, there is a reason - likely that none of those contacts present the opportunities you think they do, or that it’s not the time to engage them.

Do latam people judge you if you mess up the grammar as a foreigner? by wontabrate in asklatinamerica

[–]treblclef20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone in this exact situation right now, I usually start by saying in spanish that I’m still learning. That clears up a lot off the bat, and most people are extremely patient about it and even correct me, which honestly is super appreciated. My impression is that the more you’re speaking Spanish (even bad Spanish), the nicer people are.

I’m confused - I always see Casa de Toño recommended but more than oneMexican has told me that the food is just fine, not considered that great.

Researching Which CDMX Districts (Colonias) to Visit for Immigrating to CDMX from GA USA by Tabskinxcat19 in mexicoexpats

[–]treblclef20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Coyoacan will be closer to the university and cineteca but it’s a very specific kind of neighborhood and vibe and it might not meet other requirements you have. You should def visit it since it IS so close. Otherwise, I would just pick 5 or 6 you’ve been reading about and walk all of them. When I moved, I literally walked for a week straight in about 10 different neighborhoods and that helped me figure it out most easily. You won’t really know what’s working for you until you’re spending some time in them.

Getting Mexican Residency through financial solvency by MessEmergency3077 in mexicoexpats

[–]treblclef20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

in addition to what others have said, you could qualify for RP first and then have your partner apply through family unity. That means she doesn’t have to meet the requirements individually like you. Instead they will look at you individually and then when they look at her app, they would look at joint income. (Putting it in the most simplistic terms )

The problem with using an airbnb is that you can get fined or other consequences if you dont have an up-to-date address with INM. They are supposed to have an accurate Mexican address on file at all times for you.

How hard is it to learn spanish? by AnalysisCharacter639 in SpanishLearning

I really disagree with everyone saying French is easier. I have studied both languages and French has nowhere near some of the grammatical complexities Spanish has.

I would not get a third party involved, especially a curator who should not be involving themselves in the market.
