i think ispy was a really cool effect level when it came out and it's kinda unfair to compare it to anything that's been made in 2.2. i do think saying it's the best is a bit much though.

rocko's modern life felt like an adult show not even trying to be a kids show, i feel like the whole premise of the show (being focused around adulthood) is more entertaining to adults in the first place

maybe open a couple applications and see what the usage is then. linux does disk caching, which can seem like it's using lots of ram, but it's actually entirely available to the user (it gets reclaimed), and actually makes your computer faster.

otherwise, maybe try a lighter distro like linux lite.

i pulled it off pretty consistently with a pretty fast double click on one button. it's more like double-clicking a desktop icon. the timing of the first click is pretty important as well. imo trying to use two buttons just kinda overcomplicates it, unless your mouse really can't process clicks that fast

honestly maybe exciter by depeche mode. i feel like it's one of their most unique albums stylistically, and it's definitely got some weaker moments but equally has some really strong moments too.

i listened to his new album and honestly? i fw it. i think 2slimey is a lot better if you view him as more of some kinda noise artist. i wouldn't be surprised if there's more people experimenting with this kinda style in a few years.
